Click Ads

Been running GOODREADS click-per-ads for one week.
2600 Views, but no Clicks ! Plus few Amazon sales.
Kindle is $3.99.
What am I doing wrong ?

Don't worry.
These are my stats for November:
views 225,655
clicks 142

or my all-time stats:
total views 3,528,827
total clicks 1,969

sales? very low, I hope only to have adds-to-shelves. But, after several months' use of ads, I've certainly learnt what works for clicks and what doesn't so much. Trial and error.

Do you have a few different ads up? That way you can see which ones get clicks, and start to fine-tune them.

I've had mine running for a couple of weeks now. No clicks. Have changed the text/description twice. Have never actually seen the ad appear.

I have it set to go to my Goodreads page rather than Amazon. Have it targeted to specific women's audiences. Any thoughts on text/targeting? Thanks!

Will try to post report after my Dec. 3-4 Kindle Giveaway for my historical fiction novel.
Have set 2 ads on Goodreads--one to reflect 5 keywords and one that is supposed to post my ad next to 5 similar,but well-known, authors.

I can only suggest, instead of changing the text, you create additional ads. With several running, you can try different text & different targeting at the same time. Then they each have a chance. It's easier than trying to pick out of the blue which is going to work.

Or the same ad loosely-targeted and tightly... run them simultaneously in the same 'campaign' as they call it -- is what I do.

I set to my Goodreads page, as they recommend.
