Tracks won't play one after another

I have a ton of audiobooks and have always been able to play them in sequence (Book 1, 2, etc) on my iPhone 4S. Since upgrading to ISO 7, the books won't play one after another. The tracks are checked on my iTunes and are synced onto my phone. I've tried making playlists, but when the book is over, it will just repeat the same track.

Help! I've restored my phone to factory settings and it still won't work!

I use an app called Smarter Player instead. I tried iTunes many times without success. Smarter Player work great for audiobooks.

All the tracks are imported using iTunes and most of them are joined. They are consolidated, checked, and "skip when shuffling" is selected.
For Smarter Player, how does it communicate with the audiobooks that you already have downloaded? Thanks for all the help!!
