Andrew Brenycz Kind of a fun idea, with House of Leaves (another sort of meta-fiction book) there were people adding their own notations to the book.

I'm curious if anyone is doing that with this one. I'm only early on in the book (loving it so far) but it'd certainly add another layer to re-reading it.

sidenote: This book makes me wish I could do the annotate a book back and forth thing in reality. Of course what book would be interesting enough for two people to actually do that, plus I don't know many college students who read the same book more than once. Still a romantic idea though

Prongs I always write in my margins no matter what the book, but oddly enough with this title I was having trouble bringing myself to do it. I guess it feels like my thoughts just can't compete with what the characters have already brought out of the story. It hasn't stopped me from highlight beautiful passages though. And yes, I'd relish the idea of doing this with someone in real life. If you ever want a book/margin writing pen pal sign me up!

b.andherbooks It would be cool to do this long distance somehow...
