"Awesome!" Will exclaimed, peeking into the box to get a better look at the pokeballs inside. All 19 of them were there; it was going to be a hard choice for him to pick just one. Well, I like Fire types, so that narrows it down to about 6 Pokemon to choose from.
((I don't really want him to have a fire/fighting type, since so many of them are starters. So not Tepig, Torchic, or Chimchar. I don't really like how the last evolution of Fenniken looks, so not that one. That leaves Cyndaquil and Charmander... I love them both! I don't know which one to choose.))

((That's true. :) Both are pretty powerful, and they both look pretty awesome. Okay, Cyndaquil! I choose you! XD))Will picked up a single pokeball, and pressed the button on the side. A bright light shot out, and formed into a tiny Fire type. "Cyn!" It cried, leaping onto the boy and knocking him to the ground. "Awesome!" Will said, smiling at the playful pokemon.
((Yay!!! *confetti flies everywhere*))Iasabel's eyes widened.
"That's so cool!" she squealed. "I made up my mind ages ago. I'm going to get-" she paused dramatically, groping around the heavy box before pulling out a pokeball. " A Torchic!"
There was a flash of light, and a Torchic hopped out.
"Torchic?" it said, and it turned around and looked at Isabel. "Torchic!" It bumped into her and pecked at her shoelace before getting picked up gently by Isabel.
Isabel looked at the rest of the group.
"Who will you guys choose?" she asked.
Alex raced over and grabbed a Pokeball.
"Studies show this pokemon is the strongest of all, " he said, pressing the button. "Oshawott!"
Tyler frowned.
"Hey!" he whined. "I wanted him!"
"Well too bad! Get some one else!"
Fine! I hate you!"
Tyler stuck out his tongue at Alex and marched over to the box.
" I choose, you. Chimchar!"
There was a blinding burst of light, and a Chimchar appeared.
Isabel turened her heade to look at Camilla.
"How about you?" she asked.
Camilla walked over to the box and without looking whipped out a pokeball.
"Fenniken! Come on out!"
Another burst of light, and the fire-type starter appeared, who immediately hopped into Camilla's arms and snuggled there.
Suddenly, a voice came from behind them.
"Wow! Seems like you kiddos are all set!"
Everyone turned around, facing a smiling Professor Oak.
"Good morning, Professor Oak." everyone chorused.
Professor Oak smiled." No need, no need, " he said lightly. "Why don;y you bring those pokemon inside? I have a surprise for you."
He turned around, beckoning everyone inside.
"I can't wait to see what the surprise is!" Will said, following Professor Oak with Cyndaquil in his arms.

Riley opened the door and smiled. "Hi." Then she heared the rest of what they'd said. "TREECKO! I CHOOSE TREECKO."
Terra, do you want to do your pokemon adventure with Amy together as a team?
I'd like that, but I don't think that Terra's on
OK. If Terra agrees, you two will be partners or whatever you guys like.
OK. I declare you two as husband and wife! No, I'm kidding.
Isabel turned around, accidently dropping Torchic. The fire type dropped to the ground and bonked its head on the floor with a squeak."Torchic!" Isabel shouted, reaching down to grab her. But the starter blinked, jumped up, and ran back to Isabel's shoe, begging to be picked up.
Tyler looked at Riley, scratching his head.
"Who are you?" he asked. “I've never seen you around before. Are you new?"
His Chimchar imitated him, scratching its own head too.
"Riley." She said, petting her Treecko's head where he sat on her shoulder.
Alex snapped his fingers."Oh, I remember you! Aren't you that guy who lives a block from my house? We traded pokemon cards before, right? Didn't you have a shiny Zebstrika or something?"
Camilla sighed. "Alex, Riley-that's your name, right?- is not a boy. Therefore you call her a girl . Not a guy."
Riley smirked. "I've never collected the cards."
"Oh." Alex looked confused for a second. "I think I got messed up with some other kid."Tyler snickered.
Treecko smirked. "Treee-cko." Riley tickled his chin.
For a moment, there was silence on the street. Almost nothing could be heard except for the happy squeaking of Isabel's torchic. Camilla brushed her hair out of her eyes. "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to see the Professor. He said we would get a surprise. Come on, Fenniken."
She whistled to the Fenniken and the two walked towards the lab, Fenniken trotting beside her newfound trainer happily.
Riley followed her, her treecko climbing onto her head.
A mudkip lay crumpled on the ground outside the road. Jat saw the poor thing, and rushed to it. "I have to get you somewhere safe." he said, and rushed to the professor's lab.
