I don't really know any of the actors, so I can't really say much on that topic, but I'm really excited to see the movie. If it's as good as the book, I think it'll come to my liking. I think that they will try to be as exact as possible. I can't really think of anything that they would leave out though, it all seems pretty do-able to me.
I'm not really excited for it:/ I like the cast list, but I'm afraid it'll be another Percy Jackson-esque screw-up.:(

You can't ruin a book. You can make the book look bad by a shuit movie, but the movie doesn't change the book. The book can only be ruined if you think of it that way.

I loved the books and can't wait for the movie. The cast list doesn't seem that bad, so I have high expectations.
I have faith the movie will be good, I haven't seen anything so far to make me think otherwise. I'm getting antsy for a trailer, though.

I really like Dylan O'Brien for Thomas. I think he fits Thomas's character really well. But I'm not sure if Kaya Scodelario really fits with Teresa's character. Im not sure, and am kind of afraid, for this movie. I want it to be a really good representation of the book, and honestly (with the griever's physical appearance and such) its going to be hard to do. Let hope for the best!Release date: September 19, 2014
Very excited for the movie version. I want to see how they capture the book because that is almost always lost in the transition to the big screen.
I'm extremely excited for the movie, I've known about it since September, and have been dieing for it to come out. I think Dylan O'Brien suits Thomas, Thomas Brodie Sangster suits Newt pretty well, and Ki Hong Lee suits Minho. However, 1 character completely surprised me...Gally. Gally is supposed to have black hair and be all like a punk, and the actor for him is the annoying cousin from that Narnia movie??? I can not picture him killing Chuck...that does not seem like good casting to me. Kaya as Teresa is something I can't quite judge yet.

Not so sure about Theresa's character however I think that they picked a really good actor for Thomas. I also agree with Kelly that Gally was a weird choice but we will have to see whether or not the actor could pull it off. Definitely very excited to see the movie, however I am conscience that it will most likely be a let down.
I was a little shocked with the actor choice for Gally. I'm worried as well, especially with the City of Bones movie from the not so distant past *vomits in mouth*
I am excited. I think this would be a good book to transform into a movie. I just hope they stick to the book as much as possible. The Maze Runner is a very original and very fun, action-packed story.
I'm excited for the movie because I liked the books but I thought Dashner was a really terrible writer. I think that without his lack of vocabulary and variety in the writing style, the movie can be a lot less bland than the books.

I`m so excited to see how the Grievers look, but afraid they will be completely different from how I pictured them. The casting seems good, but I don`t really know any of the actors. It took me a while to read The Maze Runner so I hope the movie won`t seem so slow and they`ll change Thomas`s character to be less annoying and repetitive. I usually don`t want movies to change things from the books, but in this case they will have hopefully solved a few character issues.
I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE MOVIE! I read the book and I absolutely loved it. I'm excited to see how the maze, Grievers and other characters look. Hopefully I'll enjoy it:)!
I like Thomas, newt, gally,alby,and chuck but I ont know about the actress who plays Theresa. I will have to just wait and see when the movie comes out. I hope its good. I am really excited for this movie. Everyone go see it like two or three times will make the next one.
This movie is ONLY going to be about the first book right?
Not going to lie, not crazy about who they got to play thomas. I think with this book, they will have to try hard. its very imaginative and everyone will imagine, the maze and the burg and everything different. They either will make it awesome or they will screw it upBiggest thing: They have to design the greivers will as much justice as possible!
I guess I'm kind of excited but I hope they don't try to add some of the other books to the movie. Or if they just make a movie about book 1 and then don't finish the series. If they get it right then the movie will be totally AWESOME!!!
Alby and Newt look like the age gap is gonna be massive... But it could work. I hope it's a great film!
I really think Kaya and Dylan are great for their roles. I don´t know about Newt. I guess we´ll see. I don´t know most of the cast so I couldn´t really tell... But the pictures that have been going around lately look great!
