The overlook hotel is completely booked today people are everywhere. Jack heads into the bar and orders a martini from welcoming bartender Loyd. He looks around, and he notices a man in a dog suit whose making people laugh at his table.Then Loyd tells Jack all the drinks are on the house.Jack feels uncomfortable about this manager business.

why do you think that Jack feels uncomfortable?The book I was reading was Beyond Belief by Josh Hamilton the part I got up to was he started to use cocaine every day and he got suspended for a whole year from the MLB.

Idk if I'm on the right thing but so far I'm up to a part where the main character Alice is talking about the guy who abducted her when she was 5 and his name is ray. So she says that Ray loves his mother and after she passed away ray would do the things his mom did to him to Alice.
Alice is trying to abduct this other girl names Lucy so Lucy can take her spot and Alice can run away. So it's the day they're going to the park to abduct her and they find out that Lucy's not there and Ray gets really mad that Lucy's not there.
After Alice and Ray get home and ray pulls out a paper that has a drawing of her family's house and he's blackmailing her by giving her clues that he's going to kill her family. then after Ray takes a knife and puts it at Alice's throat and bloods everywhere. then theirs a knock on the door. But Ray tells them that she hurt her self while she was making food
I stopped reading beyond Belief because it got to boring. I'm reading Fields Of Honor. It is about a football player that gives up his career as a NFL player and joins the army.
The guys name is Pat Tillman he was drafted by Arizona Cardinals. He only played four seasons in the NFL. He gave up a contract that 3.6 million dollars to join the army with his older brother Kevin. It never said why he left football to join the army

Hey Brendan you asked me why i think Jack feels uncomfortable? I think he feels uncomfortable because Lloyd asks Jack about Danny and has no idea why.

finished reading a chapter and it is talking about the snow storm being the worst storn in six years. Hollaran rents a car and stops to get chains for his tires to run a little better on the snow. But traffic is a mess and ramps are closed. He is driving as fast as he can the peed is 35mph. When he turns on the radio all he hears is more snow is coming, so he just turns it off.
So do you think that book is batter or worse then the movie?
The book is way batter.
In my new book lock and key the main characters mom leaves her abandoned at the house and runs away.So the police find her and take her to her sisters house

Well everybody knows that I finished reading the book The Shining by Stephen King really good book I would give it 9 or 9 and half out of 10.
I like the book but it's getting really boring
I don't have a book yet that I have chosen I might just read Stephen King IT
I'm still reading fields of honor and as you go know pat Tillman was killed in Afghanistan and he gave up his NFL career to be a army ranger
The part I am up to know is people are talking about how he is such a great guy and that he is a real hero because he gave up the life everyone dreams of.
The one part I didn't like in the book is when one of his old team mates said it was stupid of him and it was his fault that he was killed. The guy said he kept the lifestyle like everyone else did in the NFL he would still be alive
Sounds like a good book I might want take a glance at it. To see if I want to read it.
How many pages are in your book? It sounds lime a great book. Thinking of reading it.
The book I am reading is the Scorpions edurado who is working in a science lab is trying to grow cells but is worried that most of the batch is dying on him. Lisa tells him the cells are over hundred years old. One cell survives and grows into a person. The baby is being created in a cow growing in the lab.
I just finished the book Gone Missing In New York.. It was a interesting book . It was about people who gone missing mysteriously in new york. People who went missing were not from a specific age, group or race. There is even a 22 months old baby. The book is also discussing struggles and other types works being done to find all these people.
Anyone else having a problem believing they don't realize they are having this discussion in a public thread? Also, anyone else have an urge to call Sabina and tell her she posted her cell number to a forum?

I am reading the book finders keepers and its about a guy that finds a million dollars and dosent know what to do with
I'm reading the warriors heart and so far in the book it's only talking about how his life was before joining the military
I started a new book Dutch and it is really good so far alot of action and very unpredictable
The book starts off about the boy Dutch his real name is benard James jr and he is 14 working from a pizza place ran by the mob and when it gets robbed he kills the man that tried to rob the pizza place
The mob love that he did that an they knew him and his friends stole car so they gave them a place where they can junk the cars and get money one night they try and job a huge port full of cars but Dutch gets caught and goes to jail for 18 months
Wait why did the robber rob a pizza place?
Sometimes, you just have to have pizza.
So in my book what happened is that the main character in in China at the moment. He's 19 and teaches Chinese people English history. After about a day he gets arrested by Chinese police and they and now sending him back to America.
I finished Dutch it was a really good book I really liked good ending to
Now I am on Dutch 2 it is also really good a lot of action and very fast passed book
It is mostly about angel who was Dutchs best friend and she got out of jail and heard Dutch was dead from the shooting in the first book so she is trying to become the big man on the streets and run the drugs on the streets
I have finished reading the book finders keepers. Really good book.
This book was a great book fun to read and it's that type of book u want to keep reading and dose not want to stop.
So this guy Joey works at a dock in Philly and comes home from work up his block he finds two bags of money and dose not know what to do with it. So he hides and the FBI is tracking everybody in sight.
