The Edge of Always by J.A. Redmerski, Start Date: November 12th, 2013
I would love to join! Loved the first book and I think the writer is amazing. Hopefully she doesn't disappoint us in this one, usually sequels are less strong...The 12th is a busy day for me, but I'll definitely have time the rest of the week.
Yay, the more the merrier :) You couldn't join with me and Jenna on Making Faces but definitely should join on this one :D
Does reading schedule mean like a chapter a day? I usually read one book at one time so I think I just keep post my progress while I read it. But it's up to you, which ever suitable for you. I think either ways we can still discuss it :)
I'll join for this if I can. I have quite a few other buddy reads scheduled though so it will depend if i can fit it in ☺
I can usually get through two books on a wednesday so I might be able to start this on the 12th and finish on the 13th ☺
For me it doesn't matter if there is a reading scedule or not. I don't read two books at the same time so no problems.Even though English is not my mother language, I usually read like two to three books a week.
Really looking forward to Andrew and Cam although I have this feeling this one just can't be THAT good than the first one...
@Imani: I'm a slower reader :) I usually need two to three days to finish a book with less than 300 pages. But I can be quite faster at weekends since I don't have to go to work and can read a whole day :D How about you, Imani?@ Carolien: English isn't my mother language either. I bet you will find grammar mistakes and/or typos in my writing here and there, yet I try to read as many English book as I can to improve my English :)
You just learn so much by reading English! And for me, being Dutch, English is very important. Don't worry about the typos and I still think you read fast! :)

There have been days when I have started and finished a book in a day but there are other times when due to time issues it has taken me a week to finish . But since I will be getting the eBook I will be able to read this book on the go and everywhere I go .

Did you already start reading it ?

No, I just meant the tragedy mentioned in the blurb.

No, I just meant the tragedy mentioned in the blurb.
Imani wrote: "I would like to call myself a medium reader because it really depends on my time . There have been days when I have started..."Sometimes I feel that way too. I guess I like to read with my own time and based on my mood :) To me eBook and eReader are two of the most awesome invention in technology.
Carolien wrote: "@Sarah: my thoughts exactly when thinking about the tragedy!!"Before I read the blurb, I thought there will be something to do with Andrew's disease. It was one of the reasons I didn't give it 5 stars in The Edge of Never. I felt it was too soon and too easy for his brain tumor to be cured as fast as it did, more over he has very small chance. But when I read the blurb, I have the same thought as you guys, though I still have the same thought about his disease :)

ANDREW PARRISH!!!! Here I come! Warning: Extreme Fangirling ahead! lol. Will join you guys.. and swoon our hearts out! :D
Started a few chapter but I'll put in on hold and read tomorrow. :D Boy, I'm so excited, I feel giddy. :D
I started a few chapters this morning on my way to office but I'm not in the mood to read this book :( I don't know why, maybe because I'm still in Black Dagger Brotherhood hang over or maybe because I think Camryn is too emo she's kind of annoyed me, especially after I read tough heroine in Black Dagger Brotherhood. I guess I'm going to wait to try to read it again tonight.
Yes, I agree with the EMO part, R. But then.... I'm after Andrew, not her?! lol. Will read tonight too since I'm still at work right now. :) Hope you'll have your reading mood soon! :)
Hahaha, I'm after Andrew too but then it's hard for me to connect with them when Camryn is quite annoyed me and Andrew couldn't do much. But I will try again later and hope my mood back. I really want to read it, though.
You are right about Camryn. She is annoyingly needy?! Gah! I don't know what is her issue?? But Andrew... gosh! Andrew is sooooo lovable! I love how he would do anything for Camryn! Lucky girl! Gosh, I'll trade places with her, anytime! :D
Soooo...I was lucky to have some time yesterday evening and this morning and I'm halfway the book. Without giving spoilers away, I have to say I really enjoy the story. I absolutely love Andrew, I think he's one of the most real, compassionate and awesome written guys ever created!! Some mentioned Cam being annoying and needy...I see those points but for me the things she goes through and the the things she went through, it does makes sense. I love how they don't create drama but strengthen each other. Damn, it just makes me jealous to the soulmate bond they have!
So even though the first half is a little bit slow and very character driven, I really like it because it is all real drama and real emotions. Do I love it as much as the first book? No, that was just a gem on its own...but this writer still does a great job in my opinion!
Let's see what the last half will bring...:)
Although I'm quite annoyed with Camryn in first few chapters, it doesn't mean I dislike her and don't want to read the book. I'm glad you like it, Carolien. Now you make me cannot wait to read it :)
On what chapters are you now?
I think it's half way through. I'm only about 10%, so I really really hope it gets better for the rest of the story.
The story finally picked up halfway the book. I just loved their road trip together. And Andrew.. Andrew, the things he did for Camryn?! Was beyond...swoon! swoon! swoon! Loved him more! :D
@ R: I have not noticed which chapter? hehe. I'm so absorbed with the story ..and of course, Andrew! :P ( there, again! forgive my fangirling! hehe. )
No need to apologize, B. I know how much you love him :D He's so lovable but I'm kind of want to see him in his "damage" side too. I mean so far I got Camryn's "deep and hurt" thought and behavior and he's always by her side but I know he feels the same way too. So I really looking forward to it. Do you understand what I mean?
@R : Yes, I know what you mean. Hmmm, from what I read, I think some parts showed Andrew's vulnerability and fears.. but I don't think there's this "damage" side of him. The story mostly revolves around Camryn.. but then, I'm still halfway..
I want to start reading this but I'm still having a debate with myself wether to re-read the first one or not. lol
Yes, it's so sad. I also hope their road trip will be different from book 1, though. I'm on 50% now and am feeling something bad will happen when they (view spoiler).

Andrew doesn’t understand how this could happen to them. He’s trying to move on, and thought Camryn was doing the same. But when Andrew discovers Camryn is secretly harboring a mountain of pain and attempting to numb it in damaging ways, there is nothing he won’t do to bring her back to life. Determined to prove that their love can survive anything, Andrew decides to take Camryn on a new journey filled with hope and passion. If only he can convince her to come along for the ride…
Imani and I will read this book on November 12th. Everyone can join us! :)
