As usual, you're fast :) I'm still on chapter 28.So what do you think? So far, I still think it couldn't beat The Edge of Never, though I agree with what Carolien said. It's good (so far) in its own good but I didn't get the feeling like when I read The Edge of Never. Hope the rest of the story can change my mind, though.
I got a bit bored after the 55% mark :( There are 41 chapters and an epilogue so you've not got as far to go as you think. Everything after the 60% mark felt a (view spoiler)
Finished the book just a minute ago. What to say...I agree with Sarah that the second part bored me a little. It didn't reach me or something, I didn't feel it anymore. Like it got some kind of advertisement of how to live your life and how not to live it. Thinking about my own far from perfect life and how it just sounds too...romantic.
Wrapped it up in 3 stars: I love the characters, love the author and her writing style but it didn't really work. Maybe, maybe she should have stayed with the magic of the first one??
I can't wait for her sequel of the book Killing Sarai though, a bit more kicking ass in that one...:)
I finished it last night, it's 05:44 am now and agree with both you, Sarah and Carolien. The rest of the story couldn't change my mind. I also give it 3 stars.
