A kids' book about a boy who ends up working for a man who makes ice cream cones - it shows in detail the batter, the cookie press and rolling them into a cone shape. No recollection of how the boy ends up working with him - a visit to a fair and getting a bit lost, I think... The illustrations are very 1970s: saturated primary colors, kind of bulbous round characters, the ice cream cone guy has a big white hat and a moustache
