What are your all time favorite books? (or book if you can only think of one)
Where do you get your inspiration for the books? They always have a magical quality to them.
Which book did you enjoy writing the most?
We got another peek at Claire and Bay Waverley in the Peach Keeper, but have you ever considered a follow up for them, or any of your other books?
What inspired you to write the genre that you write?
Do you have a favorite playlist you like to listen to while you write? If so, what's on it?
Do you have a "work schedule" where you make yourself sit down and write, or do you write when the inspiration strikes?
I wonder where all the elements of natural magic comes from.
Are you planning a sequel to The Sugar Queen. I really enjoyed the story but I wish Josey and her mother had resolved their issues and forgave each other for the past. I also like to know how her relationship with Chloe develops once she knows they are half sisters. And of course learn all about her adventures as a world traveler.
Q: Every book of yours I read I'm fascinated by tyour connection with nature, especially the trees. I confess that in the book Garden Spells my favorite character is the Apple Tree! What is your connection with the trees and why they play such an important role in your stories?
Where do you get your inspiration from your books and looking back, would you change anything you wrote? For example, characters or endings?
What are the books that you loved as a child?
Do you know anymore about any of your books being made into movies? I know you announced they were looking at The Sugar Queen for one. Whenever I read your books I always picture them as a movie and think about what actor I would love to see in the different parts.

When you wrote the prequel story "Waking Kate" was that something you did before you started or finished the current book "Lost Lake"? Was it a jumping off point for the new book or something you wanted to add on after you had finished the booK? I always love to hear how an author writes their stories aka sometimes from end to start, or adding on as they go along, etc.
All your books have a magic thing that it's intrigant and make them very special and unique. Do you believe that life always have a little bit of magic? Do you think we can say that, actually, this is pretty much realistic?
What do you when you need a break from writing? (What do you do in your free time for fun?).
I have loved so many of your characters, Sarah. While Evanelle in Garden Spells is not a major character, she provides an example of why I enjoy your books so much because she brings to life the prospect that there sometimes is a little magic in life--the idea that nothing is a coincidence. Is there anything, anyone in your new book that also supports this premise?
Sarah, you have such a remarkable talent. Are you at work on your next book? If so when can we look for it to come out?
Sarah, I love the themes of magic and small-town quirkiness in your books. Where do you find your inspirations for your stories?

First of all, how are you feeling? I know that everything you went through can take a serious mental and physical toll on a person. I'm hoping you are feeling stronger and healthier than ever. I LOVE your books. I set an update on my iPhone calendar about Lost Lake, downloaded it yesterday at 5:45am, and finished it by 12:30pm. Luckily, I had a snow day so I could dedicate my time to your amazing book! I'd love to know about the magical aspects of your books, where you get your ideas and how do you make the magic so realistic? It's my favorite part of your stories!

Sarah, I have written a book with magical qualities and wonderful characters, one that I am extremely proud of. The problem is I wrote it right before my life drastically changed. I still love the book, but it needs one last edit and I can't relate to it now. I was a different person when I wrote it and I can't quite figure out what to do next. I want to start sending it to publishers but I need to go through it one last time. Any advise for a newby from someone that has survived and moved forward? BTW, garden spells is what inspired me to write this book. I still love it, I think it's just a part of my life I have had to let go of and will be difficult to revisit. I'm afraid that because I am so different that I will completely change the book if I read it again. Any and all help you can offer will be tremendously appreciated. Thanks for sharing your worlds with us, they have made my life richer. I hope one day to be able to do the same.

Sarah, I am part of a online book club and garden Spells was one of our reads. I loved your book so much I had to get the reast of your books to read.
