Gypsykat | 6 comments First time trying smashwords.. worked fine it seems. My kindle hasn't arrived yet, so we'll see how easy it is to transfer it to there when the time comes (come oooooon Dec 2nd!). Can't wait, because i love seeing inside the mind of the serial killer! :-) Thanks!

John Cassian | 46 comments Oh by the way, Gypsykat, you can also download a PDF version from Smashwords, so you don't have to wait for your Kindle to arrive :)

(There are also free programs you can download like Kindle for PC/Mac/iPhone/iPad/Android -- they're all free programs if you want to try one out. I use Kindle for PC myself, since I don't own a Kindle device :)

Gypsykat | 6 comments Yes.. almost immediately after i sent that last message, i checked SmashWords and saw the Kindle link.. which (amazingly & automatically) downloaded to my Kindle for PC. I hadn't known it would be that easy.. that was my problem.. 'twas my first time using something other than Amazon itself!

But thank you for telling me anyway! I appreciate it! Although, if i hadn't figured it out myself, i'd have owed you! *whew*.. just got out of that one by a hair! ;-)

Btw, i had JUST started London:The Novel (about 70 gazillion pages) by Edward Rutherford, so i'm going to NEED that serial killer break after that! :-)

John Cassian | 46 comments hahah. Well, prepare to be disturbed and shocked! My book is very short, too, so it should be a nice break from 70 gazillion pages! I guess 23,000 words qualifies as a "novella" rather than full-fledged novel.

Gypsykat | 6 comments Ah.. well it may be hard to disturb/shock my already rather disturbed/perverted brain, but either way, your novella sounds like a welcome relief, and right up my alley! I'm looking forward to it! :-)
