So I thought it would be fun to start this thread and see what people come up with. I'll start it off.

I know I'm a book addict because I view this weekend not as the end of Daylight Savings Time, but as an extra hour to read. :)

I know I'm a book addict because... I start to have a panic attack whenever I have less than 10 books out at a time from the library. And everywhere I go, I always bring at least one book with me. And I always make sure my bags are big enough to fit books in it. I never go a day without reading.. There are so many ><

I know I'm a book addict because I was annoyed when my ipod started messing up (I listen to audio books all day at work, so that can't happen!), so I headed to the Apple Store for help. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to help me. My first thought was the paperback I was reading was at home on the arm of the sofa, my nook was in my car (do I go out to get it?), but wait, my phone has both the nook and kindle app. Whew! No worries there is still something to read. lol

Sadly that is a true story that happened to me this week.

I know I'm a book addict because I love to read and collect books. My library currently totals 5354 items and continues to grow. When I was shopping for my first house, the main item it had to have was lots of wall space for bookcases. When I moved in, I took the smallest room for sleeping and turned the living room, dining room, basement, study, den, and master bedroom all into libraries. I'm even thinking of adding bookcases to the kitchen. I live by the words of Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus: “When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes.” I never go anywhere without a book in hand.

I know I'm a book addict because for several reasons...1) every room in my house has at least on book in it, that includes my laundry room. 2) I have over 1000 physical books in my house and am constantly buying more, can't go onto amazon without ordering a physical book. 3) My kids teachers love me because my scholastic book orders alone get new books for the classes. 4) I don't go anywhere without a book. And 5) I would rather read than watch tv, movies or do housework ;-)

Yep. Both bathrooms, kitchen, and between couch cushions. lol

...I'll rather spend my money on books than anything else, maybe excepting food but sometimes even that's iffy.

I know I'm a book addict because my tbr list has over 1000 books on it & my entire closet & parts of my garage are filled w/books & I have 2000 on my kindle & 1000 in Calibre & I STILL spend time each week going to library sales cuz I think I NEED more books. SMH
