I've finished Part 1 and so far it has been quite good. It has been pretty fast paced so far seen as the revolution has already started. The different perspectives from the characters continued in this book, but I don't mind so much as they are all in different places and are doing different things.

Finished Part 2, I feel that the story has moved quite quickly. The Rising taking over the Society happened very quickly and I thought there would have been more of a build up towards it happening. I don't know what is going to happen in the rest of the book now.

(view spoiler)[ During Xander's part when they were talking about the virus and the mutations was quite confusing as they used quite a lot of technical terms but I did manage to understand the basics of what they were saying. I hope that the author doesn't pursue a relationship between Ky and Indie, the love triangle between Xander, Ky and Cassia is enough for me (hide spoiler)]

I finished this today, I thought this was good. I thought it was better than Crossed as I found the pace to be much quicker. I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed the first book Matched. I did feel at times that the scientific talk about the Plague and the mutation was a bit too complex. Overall I thought everything was wrapped up pretty well.

Part 1 (Chapters 1-8): (view spoiler)[ I thought the Story of the Pilot reminded me of the opening of the second book with the poems. I thought it was neat and serves as the main focus of the book. Did they brainwash Xander? I think his way of thinking and this 'yes man' attitude is showing that or he could be deluded. Why does the Resistance want to release and then cure the Plague? I am wondering if the Resistance tampered with Cassia's matching pool. I find that fascinating that we are getting to see inside the main characters more than just Cassia's POV, and I liked getting more information about what is happening with all the characters. Cassia might not be immune to the plague. I think there will be people in Central administering the cure. I hope she is able to get it if they are. I have a feeling that the Head Archivist might have stolen Cassia's papers, which contained poems and stories. I was mad that whoever stole it took something precious from her. The fact that the Resistance was inoculating hand picked people is very, very suspicious. It is plausible that the plague came back from wherever the Society dumped it. The archivist that Cassia talked with seems to know a lot about the history because she seemed really calm about the plague. I do not know if I should trust the Pilot. I am wondering where they are going to take the Cassia storyline. I am really enjoying the story right now. I am glad that I decided to re-read this book. (hide spoiler)]

Part 2 (Chapters 9-13): (view spoiler)[ I do not think that it is wise for Xander to vouch for Lei. I do not think that he knows her that well, and should first see if she is trustworthy. After getting into the mind of Xander, I started to understand him and I saw that he truly loves Cassia. I think he just did not pursue her in the correct way, hence she fell more in love with Ky than himself. I loved her advice to he woman who sang to the boy who couldn't sleep because she thought of it as something to be given, not traded especially the last two stanzas. Is Cassia sorting or matching? Why does the Resistance need her matching skills anyways? I do not like this Connor dude or the way he is insulting Indie. I want to slap him in the face. I think that Ky misses Cassia. However, I do not think that he would do anything desperate because he is on duty while the plague is around. I think Indie is now getting a crush on Xander. That would be nice because then Ky and Cassia can stay together. (hide spoiler)]

Part 3 (Chapters 14-18): (view spoiler)[ The plague is mutating? That is interesting, and I wonder how it happened. I like Indie, I feel like Ky and Cassia are the better fit. I wonder what the otherlands are. I find it interesting that one of the archivist came to the Gallery. Seems like word is spreading. I wonder what the true meaning of the carvings/drawings of the airships is. To me, it can represent freedom. However, it is open to interpretation. (hide spoiler)]

Part 4 (Chapters 19-23): (view spoiler)[ I don't know about anyone else, but it wasn't until this section that I finally got hooked on the book. Oh no, Oria got the plague. I wonder if Xander's family will be out there. So it appears the Archivist stole the items Cassia owned. Why is the Pilot suspicious of Cassia? Indie knew the cockpits transmitted everything said to others. I wonder if Ky knew? If he didn't would he have said what he did to Caleb? Indie got exposed to the plague? I hope she survives. I do like her character. Why those from the villages are immune? Could it be something in their diet? I find it interesting that Cassia's grandfather was the first Pilot. I think this makes her a bigger part of the Rising. Anyone else want to ring the neck of the Archivist? I wonder if she could be the double agent here. (hide spoiler)]
