Kelli (kelli413) | 17 comments Black Count by Tom Reiss. It's the biography of General Alex Dumas, father of Alexandre Dumas (author of the Count of Monte Cristo).

I really enjoyed The Nightmare and Fire Witness by Lars Kepler. These are the second and third books in the Joona Linna series.

Strangely enough I hated the first book--The Hypnotist--and only picked up number two as an ebook when I was browsing on the library's Overdrive. It was just an impulse download.

Rare (rarecat2) | 14 comments I am reading Americanah by Chichimanda Adiche. It's about Nigerian immigrants in the U.S. and life of expats. It is very intersting culturally and she is an exceptional writer. I haven't finished the book but I just got right into it and am really enjoying it.

Gosh, I loved Bury Your Dead by Louise Penny. Who would have guessed that a mystery with a subplot about Champlain would be so entertaining?

I've also recently decided to read the Walking Dead series of graphic novels. Volume one was much better than I'd hoped. Now I just have to read the next 16+ volumes!

Kristen (embria) | 1 comments The Forgetting Curve by Angie Smibert. A young adult dystopian book. The first one in the series is Memento Nora. I highly recommend them if this sounds like something you'd be interested in!
