Malia i think that the author wanted to show the reader the consequences of living forever, though i thought the book too thick. it's worth reading.

Nina I think the book was alright. It was kind of boring, but it was deep. Still, it was alright.

Kevin I actually enjoyed this book quite a bit and if you remember the target audience, what a great discussion could be had between young adults. I'm a teacher and thus approaching from an educational perspective! :o)

Travis Good idea, badly done.

l ι l y The book was very touching though i did see the movie and that was very emotional....

Rachel Love. This. Book.

Juliet great

Anna I actually read it in grade 7 or 8 and I was in love with it. The romance intrigued me and the end made me cry. I have not re-read it since because I am afraid it will lose its charm, still as a girl of 11 I was absolutely enchanted with it.

Emily It's amazing! I enjoyed every moment of the book. I couldn't put it down!

Cassie Excellent book!

Emily I read this book when I was in 6th or 7th grade and I know I loved it then, but I wasn't impressed with the movie. I'm going to have to pick the book up again one day to see if I still enjoy it as an adult because it's been so long I only vaguely remember it.

Seth P loooooooooove it

Jennifer I loved it. It had a certain 'charm' about it that made you want to read it. It was very nicely done, and it wasn't too long or too short. I read it in about an hour and a half. It's worth the read.

Tyler I read It in class at school

Elisa An amazing book. Im pretty sure I read it in fifth grade, and I remember thinking that I would love to be immortal, and even though I read that book, I would still love to be immortal. I always envision what it would be like to be immortal. I could tie myself to a stone and explore the bottom of the ocean, I could launch myself from the top of a mountain and feel how it feels to fly. I could do so much for mankind and for good in general, but in the end, I would be alone for all time. I am naturally a solitary person, my best friend is my dog, but I will be so crushed when my dog dies...
I think that if I had the chance, I would choose immortality, because there is so much the world has yet to know, but there will always be consequences, and that is why I think this book is so good. It sparks those inner debates inside yourself, and actually make you think about, and appreciate life, in its beauty and its complexity. Im in seventh grade right now, and for a while I really I thought I understood, everything. Now I realize, that I am still pretty sure I understand everything, I just do not know what I am understanding.

Brooklyn Well our class read it and we all seemed to like it and so did i and the best part is that if you like that book then you can watch the MOVIE!

Elisa Movies are never as good as the books. Ever.

Stephanie ❤️ This book was great!! I read it when I was in elementary school and loved it! Although I realized the message the story gave, I still had wished Winnie decided to be with Tuck.. Or at least had more time to get to know him a little more without any issues keeping them apart. *sighh*

Megan I've read this book twice, once in seventh/eighth grade and another time just a few months ago. The first time I read it I didn't really get the message, but after another reading the theme was quite obvious. Even though a few years have passed since I first read the book, I still found the story refreshing, beautiful, and sad.
I especially love Winnie's relationship with Tuck. They're a cute and tragic couple at the same time, separated from each other (literally) forever. Funny how tragic romances make them all the more interesting and loveable.

Sera It's not simply good; it's amazing! :) I read it in sixth grade and found myself in love with the book. The ending was really sad though and I cried so much when I read it back then. I absolutely loved the descriptions of the places the author put at the beginning of each chapter.

Robin I saw the movie first, the girl who was in the Traveliling Sisterhood Pants, was in it, and the hunky kid from General Hospital, Lucky. I decided to read the book but the movie was better in my estimation. The book was alright.

message 34: by Carolyn (new) - added it

Carolyn I read it with my language arts class and I really liked it. Some parts were boring and we listened to someone read it on a CD and the guy read so slowly, I just pulled out my book and read that instead. I read Tuck everlasting on my own (instead of in class) and I thought it was a great book and I really loved the plot. Especially winnie :)

Valencia Cain Book and Movie best ever!

Robin They are both well-done!

Leila Useini the book was like the best book i ever read!!!!!!I read it in 5th grade and it actually made me cry like anna said

Michael Lang I didnt think it was that good, it was a little too tedious and boring for my tastes.

Madelyn Rose I hated this book. I read this book a while ago and I am still thinking about how much I disliked it. It was just so boring and slow and was poorly written.
