Where's Pitcairn Island? Are any of you guys into history of the Mutiny on the Bounty and the descendents of mutineers?
If it was Sunday at seven, thirty years ago, I would be at The Wonderful World of Disney, with my brother and sisters, sitting in the den after our baths.
Can you see me from there Larry, I'm waving to you.
It's very hazy today. So, no, sorry you wasted the waving action, RA.Btw -- suburban Chicagoland is the pits. Sorry. Just not for me, thank you.
In the Hertz shuttle at St Louis airport yesterday, I heard a guy talking about stopping by Cape Girardeau. I wanted to tell, "Hey, I know someone there!"
But I didn't. I'm very reserved around strangers. Like Jackie.
It's not like I had a choice. I don't know ... all the burbs look pretty much alike out that way. At least to me they do.Cars. Too many damned cars running around. Potholes. Too many damned potholes.
My internet was down for days, Larry. Finally up again this morning. But deadlines are beginning to loom for my summer projects so I'm spending much more time being studious.
Thanks!

I'm starting to have fun with my writing and the result of my work reading for months. :)

It can be, unless it's the kind of day where they all have no energy and nobody did the reading. Then they just stare at me with their zombie eyes, mouths hanging open and I think about going back to waiting tables because then at least people respond when I talk to them.
Sounds like summer afternoons when I was in school--no air conditioning--UGH!!!Is composition a writing class? Or reading? Or both?
::hands Larry a spittoon, never know how much Larry might drool::
Larry wrote: "I ususally look to escape from Walmarts."yea I know others that way too.
I am a non store shopper - only go when absolutely necessary (a few time a year) Walmart is too massive for me!!!!! uggggg
Jim wrote: "::hands Larry a spittoon, never know how much Larry might drool::"Oh, thanks, Jim. I can always count on you.
No need for a postcard this time, but maybe at work...I'll send you the address. But I want pictures of you eating poi because everyone says it's gross and I want to hear what you think.Have a great time, Jacks!
Jackie, please ma'am!!! Have a super time in Hawaii. You should go spearfishing if you get the chance. Or swimming in a remote waterfall/pool area. :)
Heidi, I'm more of a "catch and release" person, or perhaps "snap and admire" with an underwater camera. But I will look for a waterfall/pool to swim in, Heidi. :)
Oh, do it! I mention spearfishing because I love to eat fresh fish and a friend of mine who lives in Hawaii swears that if I ever get the chance to visit the islands, we'd go fishing and eat lots of yummy local fish and do a bit of cliffdiving. :)
is it just me or is jackie like this uber top secret librarian spy who dashes off to exotic places for "vacations" entirely too frequently?
