Has anyone taken the time to figure out how many winning shelves there are this week?
According to the spreadsheet Judithe made up, Team 6 can win with alpha male and Team 7 can win with *2013 if they are called this week.

I sent my 10 yr old daughter to someone's house for a sleepover. But I did get two 6 yr old boys at my house for the day. Had to clean vs read. Oh well, Sunday is all day reading time...
Coffee is brewing and there is a vicious neef gun bage happening!! There are some ten year old boys here bigger than me. Lol. Cleaning is not as fun as reading. But at least when you are done you can feel satisfied and not guilty about reading.
I never feel guilty about reading, but then again I haven't got a vicious neef gun battle happening around me. ROFLKeep up the coffee!

Of the 16 shelves left, 6 are winning: 2013 (6 and 7), Favorite (1), Urban Fantasy (2), Part of a Series (5), Shapeshifters (3) and Alpha Male (6)Magic is the only shelf that won't give a team (or teams) a 4 in-a-row.
If Werewolves (4 teams) is called next week, this is the shelf that would help the most teams get a 4-in-a-row (without it being a game ending shelf call).

I always wonder how to calculate probability of winning on Bingo. Is there a good resource to learn about this?
The only thing I know about probability - it is basic math plus every choice is always 50/50 regardless of how many times something has come up in the past (did that in high school, oh so long ago). I'm sure they probably do some courses in College ie statistics and actuaries etc.

Looks like it's not a winning shelf for any of the teams, though most of the teams will get 4 in a row with this one. I'll let Rachel do the number crunching because she excels in it.

on the Reader's choice shelf, is it "Reader Choice" or "Reader's Choice"?They seem to be two different shelves.
Ezi, Reader's Choice is a personal shelf, so it doesn't matter.

Arcs count Preethi, as long as they are 200 pgs long and are on the nominated shelf.

Yup, I think so. Hopefully it'll be one of those shelves where 2 or 3 teams are up for the win to make it really interesting :)
