Cindy | 1 comments One of my first zombie books was in about 2010. I began with a 17 yr old slacker pot smoker. He wakes up one AM and everyone except the zombies area gone. He ends up running into a high school teacher, a katana weilding girl and a couple of his friends. Long story short they have their eye set on a boat but before they board the main guy and he new girlfriend katana get seperated and she turns. Along the way they Hole up in a 2 story shopping center and block the stairs th furniture. And I remember an old lady in their group who dies a natural death in the mall and ends ups turning. The very last chapter deals with with catching fish for food and all is as good as could be until they start catching zombie on their poles. I would love to read again but am continually unsuccessful in my search. Any help is appreciated.. Thanks, Zombie- loving granny

Tracy (tracy021) | 15 comments Hey guys, I'm hoping somebody can help me remember the name of a book too. I read the first 2 chapters on Amazon and was hooked, thought I had bookmarked it to buy it but no! Anyway, it starts out with these 2 junkies having been on a bender for a few days so they were unaware of what was going on outside. it wasn't until they ran out of dope that they bothered to look out a window and saw a little girl chowing down on a neighbor. Does this sound familiar to anybody? I would really love to find this story. Thank you so much.

Tracy (tracy021) | 15 comments Yes!! Thank you so much!! I have searched Amazon a long time looking for that book! They let you read the first couple chapters (or they did at the time) and the story stuck with me. I went back to buy it and I forgot to bookmark it. You made my day, thanks.

I just snagged it, thanks again. I like the kind of books with hardly any tropes like the good guy wins in the end and/or gets the girl. This is not that kind of book lol.
Thank you again, I was hooked after the first chapter. There's a joke in that sentence but, too easy. ;)
