The Diabolic and The Empress by S J Kincaid. I could not get into them at all

Lenny's Book of Everything by Karen Foxlee. I know it's a popular book about the value of family and having hope but the storyline was all over the place, the characters weren't too intriguing and I could guess what was going to happen from the start.

Totally agree the writing and "description" (the author's attempt at it, at least) was absolute garbage

I know right! I found it so boring too. It just didn't have me hooked the way I thought it would given all of its extremely positive reviews!

It was really boring and I didn't care one bit of what happened to the characters and why they were there to being with

So, so bad

Really it's the same old thing we've read a thousand times

Did not mind The Raven Boys and wanted to like to for the LGTB representation of Ronan, but I just couldn't...

Mainly cause it's a bad rip-off of Red Rising

JFC, what a disastrous ending

So pointless and boring, I haven't read a single Cassandra Clare book since this one

This was the first book I remember hating, I was 9 years when I read Eragon and I loved it so much, but this one was just pointless and boring... I have to skip half the book and read the last two chapters to know what happened

I love, love, love Six of Crows so much, and I think this series is good to understand the Grishverse, but it's not really that good (thank god she improved her writing for Six of crows)

I don't think it was TRASH but I didn't like it very much. I still see, and understand, the hype and why people like it though.

Aw, I thought Uglies was the GOAT of a series:/ I do agree with the selection, though. What a waste of paper and brain cells

Aw, I thought Uglies was the G..."
I've just read the premise of Uglies because it was mentioned and oh God it sucks. So superficial and boring. I would never bother reading it. Also, I agree with The Selection, I just couldn't connect with America and the story fell flat for me.

Also, Fallen was atrocious for me. I read it a while ago and kept reading I don't really know why, I guess I liked angels, because all the characters were horrible. Even the book about Cam was better than the whole series, so I guess that says it all.

'Graceling' by Kristin Cashore, I never knew that too much dialogue could be so boring until reading th..."
OMG me too! I thought I was losing my mind because people love it so much.

Yes -.-

Yeah, I tried to read this one and had to give up like 1/3 in. So blech.

I agree

if you only read the first five pages you cant really judge...

Totally agree. I think I gave the book 2 stars to be nice but I really did not like it. The plot was boring and I hate conveniently contrived love triangles

Totally agree. I think I gave th..."
agreed. it was clear to me who she would end up, and I didn't really like the dude that she didn't end up with. Plus, i HATE that in every single love triangle that i have ever read, the girl/guy always ends up with the second love interest introduced! SO predictable

Hey There!
I hope you and your family is safe during this time of crisis. I recently made an online book chatting website called- http://book-talks.com. Book-Talks is a platform where passionate readers like you and me and book readers from around the world can come and chat about their favourite books. For e.g. If you’ve read a very famous book then why not chat about the book with readers who have read the same book – share your thoughts on the book, the best moments and scenes in the book, post a fan edit for a part of the book you liked or disliked or even share some real-life experiences that you can easily relate with the book. I really really wish you would check Book-Talks and contribute in its aim for connecting book readers all over the world. Lastly, as said by Lloyd Alexander books are the best form of an adventure then why not share your adventure with others and also be of their adventures.
(PS: Thank you for spending your precious time reading this message. Everyone starts with that one subscriber, one follower and today I am doing that with my site so the biggest thank you to the very first visitors of my website. I Pinkie Promise that you will love Book-Talks and Book-Talks loves you back for visiting it.... Thanks again!! Have a wonderful day!)

This is a series where people either love it or hate it and sadly I'm part of the later. It just bored me and the first book was okay yet as the story went on and on I liked it less and less. On top of that I hated the ending. Personally I felt like it just made the whole story feel like it didn't matter, just Ctrl+Alt+Delete the whole story I just read. Made me feel like they should have just stayed in the maze.
