Hey :D I've missed talking to you!

message 2: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Hello lovely.:3
Same! I am getting around to replying to our other one. I apologise for the extended amounts of time you have to wait for a reply.D:
But how've you been?
AND A PLOT. WE NEED AN IDEA.

So I'll just say now, I've been really wanting to make a necromancer girl. So that would be our starting point.:3

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

No worries, dear C: sometimes you just gotta wait for the inspiration to hit you. I don't mind waiting.
Life is okay :3 sometimes it kinda sucks and sometimes it's great so I guess okay describes it well XD
YES WE DEFINITELY DO.

I'm cool with that. But what exactly would this necromancer girl do? There's variations in the definition, so I figure I'd ask you what you have in mind.

message 4: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Thanks for understanding.:) I really appriciate it.c:
That's good. Yea, I get what you mean by it being up and down; suckish and not so suckish.:/

That's where I'm stuck. I read these set of books by Kelley Armstrong and they were pretty good. But I don't want to go repeating them exactly. The basic plot of those stories though, was that a group of teens has been scientifically tested on and each had a different ability. They then had to go on the run from these scientists who wanted to keep them locked up and such.

Like I said, I don't want to repeat that exactly, but I thought I'd throw it put there as well. We could change it up though. I'm not exactly sure how though, still brainstorming currently.:3

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

You're very welcome ^^
'xactly.

I've never read Kelley Armstrong's books, bt I've heard of them. I think I'll add those to my list. But yeah, that sounds pretty interesting. So were the kids born with those abilities or did they develop them because of the experiments?

Makes sense C:

message 6: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments C:

I defintely recomend them. They're an awesome series. I recently reread them.:3

The kids parents were sort of employed since it was known that those particular familes carried the genes needed to become a supernatural(I'm probably not making any sense). The abilities were naturally there, but due to the experiments, they were heightened and made more powerful.

:3

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll definitely be reading them, then C:

So basically, they were born with whatever supernatural capabilities, and the scientists just honed those abilities?

message 8: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments :) Oh, I forgot to ask, did you get into the infernal devices series in the end? :)

Yea, basically. So they were all mega powerful etc etc.
However, they managed to et the kids all into one place and that's how they all found out about the scientists and everything. So maybe we could change that up, have them all on the run until one of them finds out about the experiments that were made on them and then manages to find them all somehow?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Yep! Finished reading all the books Cassandra Clare has out so far :3 I love them all XD I kinda don't like Tessa, though.

I love megapowerful haha :P
That would work. So they were all experimented on when they were much younger and they don't remember it?

message 10: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments :3 I hated how she ended infernal devices. Not how Tessa and Jem got together, but how she felt the need to write about how Will died. Honestly it killed me inside. I'm still suffering he after effects and it's like, 2 months since I read it.D:

As far as the book explained, they were experiments on whilst ther mothers were still pregnant with them. And then were kept in the lab for a few days to run tests before their parents were allowed to go.
Ok. So they're all on the run.
Maybe 2 of them aren't even aware of their powers, they just know that somebody's out to get them?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Agreed. And I feel like it would've been better for the story if Jem had actually died instead of staying frozen in time as a Silent Brother than getting magically healed and returning to Tessa. I mean, I love Jem, but it was uncharacteristic of him to choose to be a Silent Brother.

Or, maybe one of them is partially aware and the other only recently realized something was seriously wrong/different with him/her?

message 12: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Yea. It didn't seem very Jem-like of him-to find a way to try and escape death. I always imagined he'd accept it, like he did throughout the books. But I guess the ending wasn't so bad. At least he did, in the end, get his chance to be with Tessa. As did Will. Why she had to literally tear my heart in two by explaining his death was beyond me.

Yea, possibly necromancer girl thinks she is actually going clinically insane-talking to people that aren't really there. At least not to 'normal' people anyway. Then one of your characters could have partially discovered their ability, but hasn't really got a clue what they should do about it. And with the scientists on their tail, they see no other option but to go on the run.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

I kinda liked that Will lived a long life and had a peaceful death, a peaceful ending to his dramatic life. And Jem- I'm glad he got time with Tessa. I loved Jem, and his death was so incredibly sad, but also fitting. I figured it would be more noble and Jem-like to accept his death and go.

Perfect :3 Then they run into each other and mine recognized your necromancer girl as similar to him and then they team up or whatever.

message 14: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments I liked that part. It was just heartbreaking to let him go, y'know? Most books end and you just imagine them living a nice, long, happy life. And I'm glad he had all his family-and Jem- with him. I think its just the fact imagining that hes dead. Knowing that if I re-read the books that in the end, the epilogue is going to have his death scene in. I'm looking forward to the next book of hers-Heavenly fire. mainly because they bring Tessa back I think. And every time Brother Zachariah[aka Jem] was in the Mortal instruments, I couldn't stop myself getting excited about it.xD

YES. How about the other two charries though? What shall we do with them?
We could possibly add them in later, start off with the two and then when they find the others, begin RPing them also.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I read TID after TMI and when I found out about Jem being Brother Zachariah I was like Ooohhhhhhhh! Jem! That's why he was going on about Herondales!

We could do that. I quite like that idea :) So the necromancer girl has been leading a mostly normal life? Other than her necromancer abilities?

message 16: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Haha, it was the opposite way around for me.:3 Every time they called him out to help I was silently victory dancing and hoping he'd mention something about Will or Tessa.:3
And all the other couples in the TID books were so cute as well. Gabriel and Gideon.<3 I just scroll through tumblr looking up quotes and pictures and such. I have a bad case of being a fangirl.
The only thing I'm worried about is the fact that they're making a TID film, and if it's anything like how the Mortal instruments film turned out then I'm scared it's going to ruin the books. Hopefully they'll pick the right person for Will. Otherwise I won't be happy.D:

Yea.:3 Within the books they had it so that when they hit puberty, they're supernatural gifts began to kick in-understandably. So she's just been leading a normal life happily, and then she begins to see ghosts and do on, so fourth.:3

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha I can imagine. I'm rereading TMI and I'm doing the same thing XD BUT OMG THEYRE MAKING A TID MOVIE?!! I did not know this. Oh god. Did they cast anyone yet?

Sounds good. Ooh how about for some reason the guy's gifts kicked in a bit earlier than normal so he's known about it for quite a while and he's been in a lot of shit because of it so he's all untrusting and stuff?

message 18: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments I so wanna retread TID but I still can't bare the thought of precious Will dying. Seriously, I can't get over it. I have some sort of problem.:( YES THEY ARE. They begin filming after the second mortal instruments movie comes out as far as I'm aware. So nobody has been cast as yet. The same film company is doing it though.:o

Yea, then it'd be all cute because she'd teach him how to trust again and then it'd be all awish and perfect. And he could try his hardest to try and make her happy even when she's feeling all crappy and stuff about her powers and feeling homesick and such.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Did you like Will more or Jem more? I never could decide for sure between them, but in the end I think it was Jem. And that kinda sucks. TMI CoB wasn't very good. And Jace was all wrong.

And then it'd be all adorable and aldkfjgksllakdjsjjfkd lol
I think we've got it down, yeah?

message 20: by wanderer (last edited Oct 30, 2013 12:07AM) (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Like you I couldn't make a proper decision really. I liked the pair of them, together, if that makes sense. The way they were parabatai. It was probably the reason I loved the books so much. And they were both such contrasting characters as well. I think in the end I liked Will more, mainly due to his sarcastic comments and such.:3
Agreed. They just got it all wrong. It was a real disappointment and if they muck up TID series...:(

Yep. So should we get to charrie creating? Mine will be up a lot later-it's my dads brithday today and we're going to see Thor. :D

I'll finish him later, at school at the moment.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

What should his power be? I was thinking something like Telekinesis or Pyrokinesis or Energy Manipulation, but that might make him too powerful so I'm not sure.

message 24: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Same about the Jem and Will thing. The reason I read it wasn't because of who Tessa would choose. It was all about the two of them together.:3

As for his power, I like the idea of Pyrokinesis[thats all the fire stuff, right?] I think that'd be sorta cool.:3

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

True that :3 That scene with Will where the parabatai bond breaks was so epic and beautiful and absolutely heartbreaking and omg just dkajkldafsd;ljf.

Same. I've always liked the idea of Pyrokinesis. Telekinesis is cool but it makes the character overpowered and that's not very fun to play. But I still like Energy Manip because then he could also use fire, because that's a form of energy, but then he'd also be able to like absorb heat and light and whatnot.

message 26: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Omg the saddest part was when Will thought Jem wouldn't wake up and he was saying his goodbyes, and then Jem did wake up and he did get to say goodbye properly and just...;-; :'(

Yea, agreed.:o It's up to you whichever one you choose. With the fire, he could have been accused of being an arsonist for accidentally setting stuff on fire(aka discovering his powers early and goof through a load of shit for it). Or with the Energy Manip, I guess you could say the same thing.:)

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Omg yes I was about ready to cry at that moment :'(

I'll go with Fire, because Energy Manip might be too powerful.

message 28: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Same. I never cry at anything; books, movies, nothing. But about an hour after I finished the book itself my mum shouted at me and I burst into tears. So I'd partially class that ate crying at it. In which case it is the first and only book to ever really make me cry. While I was reading it though, I wa all but ready to cry, but the tears just wouldn't come.D:

Okies.:3 I might just list out a few of her personality traits instead of writing out stuff. Since I'm tired and lazy.xD

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm exactly like that! I never cry at books or movies or anything, but I did feel like it when I was reading Clockwork Angel.

Yeah, I think I'll do the same XD

message 30: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Yea! I've been dubbed by my family and friends to have a 'heart of stone'. XD Another one that almost made me cry was The fault in our stars. I'm definitely looking forward to the movie of that.
But clockwork princess did kill a part of me. Honestly.

I'll add them on in a minute. I'm just gonna go get my PJs on though.:3

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

Awwww Gus :( I loved him too. And Hazel. That was one female lead that was pretty amazing.
God, I hope the movie doesn't kill it :/

Kay :)

message 32: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments D': It was so sad. Same here, although, I have to say, Ansel Elgort is quite good looking. And according to John Green everything is going well and its a 'faithful script' [something along those lines] so I'm really looking forward to it.

Finished her! :3
I'll ask now, where do you think we should begin from? Maybe he's seen a few articles about her in newspapers and such, being missing. And then there's been rumors going around about her stealing and such. So he's managed to track down her hiding spot and he makes an attempt to sneak up on her, only to be caught? Something like that? :3

Also, did you wanna start or me? :) I'm about to head off to bed, so my post would probably be up sometime tomorrow afternoon.:3

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Same here. I don't think a movie can have the same impact that the book did, but I think they'll do a good job with it. The cast is pretty good, anyway.

She looks great! Let me finish up Lee in a moment.
And who would he be caught by? Her?

I could start, if you like :)

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Done with Lee :3

message 35: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments No, I think TFIOS might be the movie to make me cry. The idea of he haracters being brought to life, and for one if then to die saddens me as it is. I don't know, there's just something about a movie that'll make me cry more than a book.:o Maybe it's because you see the characters live in the flesh, walking and talking and interacting.:3

He's awesome! :3 Yea, he'd be caught by her. I'm thinking that a ghosty tips her off about somebody approaching, so she shimmies up a tree and when he's below her *BAM* he's caught.

If you wouldn't mind? :)

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

That's true. Cause then we'd see the characters as actual people rather than words on a page. I really hope they get Isaac right and don't just shove him out of the spotlight, because I loved him.

That works C:

Sure :3

message 37: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Exactly. Yea, me too. I especially likes him when he was doing that speech for Augustus' rehearsal funeral, how he would want to remain blind because his best friend was gone.<3 The feels are just to much to bear.D:

Thanks.:)

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

I hope they include that scene o.o it was beautiful. Sad, but hilarious at the same time.

C: I've got a few replies to finish, plus a persuasive essay to complete, so I might take a while, but I'll be sure to post soon :3

message 39: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Yea. That scene alone almost made me cry, because of the sadness of it all. The fact that Augustus was attennding his rehearsal funeral alive, and the next time, the real funeral, he'd be dead.:'(

Okay, no need to rush it. Just take your time.:3 Lookig forward to seeing your post though.:3

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry, one last question: where is her hideout?

message 41: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments In the forest, I imagined.:)

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay then! Sorry for taking so long.

message 43: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments Don't worry about it! My reply for our other one will be up either tonight or tomorrow night.:3

message 44: by [deleted user] (new)

Last question for real, I promise XD
What tense?

message 45: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments I don't mind.:3 I think It'd be easier doing passed tense.(:
And I'm a failure at replies, I know.:(
I keep feeling myself I'll do it and then I get on my laptop and I just procrastinate.
I'm determined to have it up by Sunday though.

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

Alrighty then. Third person, I'm guessing? I know I know that was supposed to be the last question but I just want to clear it beforehand you know so it doesn't get confusing
And omg I'm exactly like that XD Take your time, dear, as I'm taking mine.

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

And good night, Chloe! :)

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

If it's even night there XD

message 49: by wanderer (new)

wanderer (chloemai) | 1825 comments I'm happy with whatever point of view you want.:) Third or first.(:
Thank you.:3
Nah, it's morning here.:( I'm about I head off to school.D:
But nighty night anyways.:3

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

Lovely C: Now it's morning here. We're in opposite time zones XD
