I'm kind of washed out after my mini vacation, and putzing around the house unpacking - and fiddle-farting around on GRs, too. So I'm re-listening to

was good? I haven't read a crime book in a long time, this could be a nice return to the genre

It is like the old detective books, in a way, but is set in the present. Also, JKR's writing is wonderful. Very well narrated, if you like those. I'm sure I'll re-read it sometime next year, too. ... it was that good!

My slump's over! Thanks to Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. I've read 12 books so far and might finish another one tomorrow. Of those 12, six where from IAD. My faves:
- liked Emma's growth throughout the book
- Gotta love a genius hero who's ready to sacrifice anything and everything for his beloved.
- Loved the banter and humor in this one. Holly is my favorite heroine so far and Cade's accent is to die for. Audio is a must for this one.Of the rest I read:
- Great storytelling and I got it as a freebie!

Hmmm... I've never read anything by MKA and have been meaning to - and my library has it.
Lisa - I love her books! She writes witty/women's fiction. Lots of laughs for sure.
I had a crazy month and not as much reading time :(I didn't have any 5 star reads either, but that is probably more to do with the distractions. Of the 8 books I managed to read these were my favorites.
