Fran | 12285 comments Thanks Kat! Got it!

message 52: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments Jane,

picked up Burdens of Truth and Rarer Than Rubies for you :)

message 53: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments Thanks, Kat! Running really late this morning so haven't had time to check in at all...back later though! :D

message 54: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments Hey, do we just want to go with Prelude for next month? Or does Karen have an idea about one that works well with the monthly - hint, hint?!

message 55: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments Hmmmmm, well...Prelude would actually fit, or if someone knows of a good holiday themed book, that would be good too! ;-)

message 56: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments This is a good list for Holiday themed reads-

https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3...

message 57: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments How about Knitter in His Natural Habitat? I don't think it's holiday though. But there is snow on the cover...

message 58: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments This one looks really good if anyone wants to read an anthology...

A Very Naughty Xmas A Very Naughty Xmas by Stephanie Julian

message 59: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments A Very Naughty Xmas sounds good, but I don't think most of it is m/m, is it? Definitely looks like a fun read, though! And Knitter in His Natural Habitat is 4th in a series, so that would mess with both my and Kat's series OCD! I thought His For The Holidays looked good, and it's an anthology and all the stories have been individually released so we could read all or just part of it...but Jane has aready read it :(

Oh well, still looking...

Why did I think that one was m/m? You are right it's not!

message 62: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments How about Merry Gentlemen by Josephine Myles or Let It Snow by Heidi Cullinan ?

message 63: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments Those both sound good to me, Fran!

Got it for you Jane :)

message 66: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments Thanks Fran! Karen, I got it for you too!

message 67: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (last edited Nov 20, 2013 05:13PM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments Thanks, Kat! I got the confirmation email this morning so I knew you'd done it, just forgot to come and say so! I'm sure glad someone is on the ball early, or I'd be missing almost all of these...

Hopefully by the next time they do a bunch of Tweetaways like this I'll have real internet and will be able to get the tweets on my phone instead of having to be right at the computer to get them! :D

message 68: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments Do we want to decide for December?

Merry Gentlemen by Josephine Myles , Let It Snow by Heidi Cullinan , Prelude (Blue Notes, #4) by Shira Anthony ?

message 69: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments Yes please! My internet is down this morning so I am only on my phone and that makes research hard. Hopefully it will be working soon, bit I'm good with whatever!

message 70: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments Kat, I added the covers to my post above but I don't think they show up most of the time on the phone app.

Merry Gentlemen, Let It Snow or Prelude ?

Or any other suggestions?

message 71: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments They didn't show up the first time, but they are there now. I hate that! Of those, I am more interested in Merry Gentlemen or Prelude.

message 72: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments I haven't had a chance to even look - but I'm perfectly happy with any of the three - they will all fill challenge slots, so I'm good! :D

message 73: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments Having technical difficulties right now (among other things, but the Tweetaway today is for Stranded http://www.dreamspinnerpress.com/stor...

Should be good for about another 40 minutes...

message 74: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jane (PS) | 24339 comments http://www.dreamspinnerpress.com/stor...

Stranded by Andrew Grey is free at Dreamspinner - I think for about another 40 mins or so...

Fran - I picked up yours :)

message 75: by Jane (PS), Moderator (last edited Nov 22, 2013 02:54PM) (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jane (PS) | 24339 comments I don't have any of those books, and I keep hoping to have time to read with you, so I'll go with the flow from whatever you decide.

...Once the MM Scavenger Hunt is over (which I'm not going to do again) I'll be better able to read with you! It finally finishes at the end of December but it's too long and too time consuming...

Fran | 12285 comments Is there a title both Jane and Breann need for the m/m challenge they are doing that Kat, Karen and I could read too? Is that asking too much that there is one book that all 5 of us haven't read that also fits the other challenge, LOL?

That would be great as far as I'm concerned. I'd be good with anything you all come up with, and if we can find something that fills challenge slots for both Jane and Breann, it's a double bonus! :D

I would be good for that! Just need Breann and Jane to say what they need to read!

message 86: by Jane (PS), Moderator (new) - rated it 3 stars

Jane (PS) | 24339 comments The Scavenger Hunt categories for December haven't been announced yet :(

But know I have one Christmas book on my lists that I have to read by the end of December...

Christmas with Danny Fit by Amy Lane Christmas with Danny Fit

and non-Christmasy, I have to read:

Love Lessons by Heidi Cullinan Love Lessons

message 87: by Breann (new)

Breann | 398 comments We don't know the categories yet but I can use whatever and use it as my free read. A christmasy book sounds fun :)

message 88: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments I can borrow Christmas with Danny Fit from the lending group so that's good with me. But it's 3.49 for 75 pages if you have to buy it.

message 89: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments That is steep for 75 pages, but I don't mind buying it. It has good reviews!

message 90: by Fran, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fran | 12285 comments I think Dreamspinner sells it too. Let's cross our fingers it's one of the freebies coming up!

message 91: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments That would be awesome! I'll wait to see before buying it.

message 92: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

~KarenH~ | 11371 comments I'm fine with that one, too. I don't mind buying it either - the price is steep for an impulse buy, but I'm fine with it if it's for a specific reason.

Actually, I just remembered that Kobo has an unlimited 50% off coupon good through the weekend...UNLIMITED50...so that brings the cost down to $1.75! :D The coupon is good through Monday, so I'll probably wait through the weekend and if it hasn't been a Tweetaway book by then I'll pick it up at Kobo.

message 93: by Breann (last edited Nov 23, 2013 10:45AM) (new)

Breann | 398 comments Kobo has a one time coupon code for 95% off!

This works for me! I'm a total Amy Lane fangirl. I am in love with that woman and I don't care who knows it!

message 95: by MountainKat, Moderator (new) - rated it 4 stars

MountainKat | 31763 comments Sounds like we have a plan then! Christmas with Danny Fit is our December book.
