So I've been wondering if I skipped something or the author didn't bother to explain, but... Did we get an explanation of what Sarah really did when John met her at her house? I know she said: "I didn't do it", but what really happened?
We know she was texting someone and that the police got there afterwards, but who send them? If she didn't turn John in, then why she yelled at John? If I remember correctly, she was very emotional during that talk, so what's up with that? Suddenly she is sweet again...
So guys, is this a plot hole or what?

I believe that if aliens are having a fight in the middle of a quiet neighborhood at night, and someone notices a known fugitive, they're gonna call the police.
As to Sarah's emotional issues, her boyfriends gone with a girl who he admits is pretty. I have a feeling she was ticked because of that. Now that she's living with them, she knows that they don't feel that way about each other.
