ABANDONED. Jade Green Statuette - YA/SF - alien spaceship underwater

Published by 1976 or so. I recall the title as being "Jade Green Statuette", but have found no such book. I recall the book being about an alien spaceship that was underwater, in relatively warm waters off a coast or island. No idea what role the statuette played.
