Chapter three (view spoiler)[ So at the moment I have no idea what is going on, it's been a good six months since I read the last book and all the changes in POV isn't helping. I hate how Stevie Ray isn't listening to anyone about Zoey, I'd just let Zoey figure out what to do by herself. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1 - 12(view spoiler)[ Fist off I am pleased that the Casts are doing a good job at making the voice of each character in each POV chapter individual to each of them.

The first chapter actually for a change pulled me right in at the first paragraph. The first book was the only time in this series that I felt my attention pulled in.

I'm annoyed with this Dallas character. He says girl at the end of each dialog paragraph. I have never met a straight guy talk like that ever. He is supposed to be country folk but he talks like a stereotypical drag queen. I feel that they wanted his voice to sound of course different then the other boys in the book but it just didn't cut it.

I'm still bored with this Kolona fallen angel guy. He's so gloomy and kind of pathetic. He is a love sick fool being pushed around by Neferet. I mean honestly he's supposed to be immortal, evil vice that seduced Neferet in the first place to free him and now he's just love sick for Zoey. He's falling for every guy plot line in this book for straight guys. Fall hopelessly in love with Zoey.

Steve-ray imprinted with Rephaim is good for plot but I still wish she was imprinted with Aphrodite. I really thought there was going to be a really good twist. It was still vital though for the plot.

The different POV for each chapter is a bit odd. It is not consistent but I see why they did it. They wanted to bring more in depth feeling for all characters and show how important Zoey is to the characters. I'm enjoying this but I can see how this could annoy many by the masses. Readers like constancy in writing style.

I feel for Zoey for the first time in this series since being used by the poet teacher. I like the premise for the story so far.

Chapter 13-15 (view spoiler)[ I still can't stand this Dallas red fledgling speaking patterns. Honestly who says girl after almost every sentence when talking to a girl. I like how he wants to care for Stevie-Rae and he wants to be tough enough to be her warrior. He at least put his words to action and I respect that.

Stevie-Rae scene with the bulls was very entertaining. I couldn't put it down. This was probably the best scene in the whole series so far. I think it fit in well and was excellently written.

I really like how Stevie-Rea and the Raven-Mocker are evolving as one to each other. This is a very interesting topic and I'm curious for more. I like that I'm not reading much about annoying Zoey. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15-17 (view spoiler)[ I like that Aphrodite told stark to smarten up. Someone had to.

I hate when they name drop for simile. It's just not original and it lack creativity for them. The glee reference comparing Rachel to Aphrodite didn't even make much sense. They're nothing a like. You would think they would want to make there work timeless to read. this just dates the story horribly.

Stevie-Rae is an entertaining, believable and respective heroin. I wish she was the main character in all the books or at least had her perspective in every book to take away from annoying, immature, boring, boy crazy Zoey.

Last but not least Karisma is a bit annoying and sound really gangster. I think she might have been from a low class society and that's why when all this drama happens she's always level headed because she has street smart. Just a theory. I like her though because she is a loyal, brave good heart person. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18-25 (view spoiler)[ Ilike the stark warrior/ shammon idea. It really pushes the plot along and raises the stakes which is more rising action for the reader. I'm enjoying what Stark has to go through to get to Zoey.

The Stevie-Rae and Rephiam is kind of beatiful and i'm very interested in reading more about them. It is deffenitly a beauty and the beast kind of theme though.

I'm so glad Dallas is gone so far. I can't stad the way he has to put girl after every sentence he says to Stevie-Rae.

One thing I did notice about these book is how easily they jump to the conclusion your a cheating whore without listening to the persons side. I mean I've read slut, skank, hage and who so many times in these books. It's definitely a girl hate girl society of vampires. Isn't something I appreciate to tell the truth. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 25-31 (view spoiler)[ I'm going to miss Heath. His last chapter was sad and meaningful. I think Stark says it best, "How can I ask to leave the only girl he has ever loved? Forever." That's not exactly word by word but close enough.

I enjoyed the fact that Stark and Heath came to a understanding that they both love Zoey and they both will do anything to protect her. They decide to work together and actually understand where each one was coming from. This was a conclusion every reader wants to feel and experience.

Aphrodite is becoming so strong. She is also become less selfish and growing.

I have a theory that Nyx want a trio of 3 different pure High priestesses to fight the evil that will come. You have your Vampire-High-Priestess which is Zoey. Then you have your Red-Vampire-High-Priestess which is Stevie-Rae. The third would be Aphrodite the Human-High-Priestess. Together they create a power of three. (hide spoiler)]
