ABANDONED. In desperate need of help finding Little Snow

I remember a bit.
The book is about a Native American/Caucasian pair. The man's nickname for the woman was Little Snow because he rescued her when she was a child from freezing to death. He was out riding with his grandfather at the time and took her back to her fathers ranch. When they were older he went to a white man's school. College. The girls mother moved her back East for an education. After she finished her education she moved back to the ranch. They met each other again. Her father was murdered and her love was framed for it. They run away together. Romance ensues in a cave. They end up happily ever after. I can remember all of that, but for the life of me the title and the author escape my mind. Please help! I'm fairly certain I am desperate. Might be the headache that comes from trying really hard to remember something. Hope someone can help! ^_^

It is older. I read it years ago. I read it in the early 2000s.
