It may seem like a simple line but it's really sucked me in cause it may seem a common thing but most paranormal book summaries begin with a sorta lyrical line about mysterious things and fate and stuff. That is good too but has kinda become a cliche now.
Edit: OMG YOU LIVE IN LAWRENCE, KANSAS? WOW! THAT IS SO COOL! Sorry, I'm a kinda huge Supernatural fan.

Thanks for the feedback on the blurb! This is extremely helpful information. It's definitely pretty representative of the book...it isn't like a lot of paranormal stories out there right now.
I do live in Lawrence, and it is like a tiny little Portland. Even the bag ladies here are stylish. Stull Cemetery, where the guys were during the apocalypse, is totally real. I'm a huge fan myself...Dean girl right here...
Hi there. If there is a spot available, could I sign up for this one. Kindle version to debway230@bigpond.com. Thanks x

Have you been to the stull cemetery? Did the film the actual scene there? Wow you might have had a chance to meet the guys! I am a Dean!Girl too but I also like Sam. I can relate to Dean a lot more- the whole suppressing emotions and looking out for your little brother part.

I have been to Stull Cemetery, and it looks quite a bit different than the episode. It is actually a huge hill and they don't allow people in there anymore. I believe they filmed in Canada. :(
If you go to my facebook page www.facebook.com/jademccahon you can find a pic of a black impala I chased down while driving through town the other day...was it them? I'm just going to say yes, haha...

I saw the picture! It looks really cool but the comment killed it! Yeah I guess the scene was probably filmed in Canada as most of Supernatural is. Anyway, gotta read the book now!

Title: A Night at the Asylum
Author: Jade McCahon
Genre: NA Paranormal
Length: 156 pages
Synopsis - Sara Featherstone is a loser. At twenty she is still indentured to her parents, her best friend is a closet clairvoyant, and her long time boyfriend just dumped her and refuses to tell her why. Five years ago her world ended with her brother, Tommy, running his motorcycle into a tree, and the life she might have led had never started.
Catapulted into the dark streets after a "visitation" from Tommy, Sara has no idea that all that wasted time is about to catch up with her. A chance encounter with a man wielding a knife sets in motion a chain of events so bizarre that Sara will soon question everything she has ever believed. From her boyfriend's fidelity to her best friend's innocence to what her brother knew about a missing classmate, irony is about to make Sara its bitch, and the next twelve hours might be her last.
