For gay BDSM, I recommend Nowhere Ranch by Heidi Cullinan. One of the best books I've ever read, in any genre.
For M/M/F BDSM menage, I recommend Melt into You by Roni Loren. It was nominated for a RITA award from the Romance Writers of America.
Anything by either of these authors is fantastic. Roni writes primarily BDSM, and Heidi writes primarily gay romance.

The point of difference, and one I found very interesting, is that it's a very sexy romance, with ..."Try "Two and a Half Weeks to Chocolate". First book out now. It is AMAZING. If you loved FSOG as I did, you will like this one too. Very plot driven. I am waiting for the second book in the series. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X8BHR2M

I’m new to this group, so I started reading the older posts, to get a feel for things. I was surprised to find that no one mentioned Anne Rice’s Beauty trilogy. After a hiatus of twenty years, with her publication of Beauty’s Kingdom, Anne Rice, the author of Interview With the Vampire, has now returned to the erotic BDSM novel. In this new story, Rice returns to the fantasy world she created around the legend of Sleeping Beauty, In this strange “Kingdom,” sexual slavery is exalted. The beautiful people of the court, both men and women, are not only subject to savage and prolonged whippings and spankings, they administer them as well. The SM passages, are well written and highly erotic, and there is enough substance in the story to avoid the charge of simply being words to get from sex scene A to sex scene B.This book is not for everyone, perhaps not even for all BDSM fans. But for those who like both fantasy and explicit SM, Anne Rice may have written the perfect book. For those interested in more details, please refer to my Goodreads review.
I agree, the "Beauty Series" was one of the first serious BDSM series and deserves mention. Having said that, I found the scenes quite repetitive. I will read Beauty's Kingdom soon just to compare it to the older books. Having said that, I would still recommend the first book "Two and a Half Weeks to Chocolate" in the "Two and a Half Weeks" series. I stumbled upon it by accident, and found it terrific.
Alas, your comment about the scenes being repetitive is accurate and detracts from the reading experience. I found the best book of the four to be "Beauty's Punishment," but I read it a long time ago.
The Slyvia Day Crossfire series. Also my own novel The Deepest Shade of BlueWhich draws into the realm of paranormal. Allowing for the Lead male Laurent Quinn to actually have read power.
You might try "A Web of Evil," which just came out and has already picked up a few good reviews on Goodreads and Amazon. Full disclosure: I wrote it :)
If you want to read the literary, psychological side of Masochism, "God's Glass" is FREE November 13 - 17. "God's Glass" tells the life story of Joanie Callahan, a masochist born into a strict religious household. She is isolated and ostracized all her life, until she meets a boxer named Michael who's just like her...

How about BDSM in a rom-com? I have a trilogy to recommend!
Fun Facts:
Brandon Taylor’s name was inspired by Marlon Brando and violet-eyed Elizabeth Taylor. Are Brandon and Brando separated by birth?
Can't wait to bring it to you on December 01. It's available for pre-order on Amazon.

I'm going to have a read of Two and a Half Weeks to Chocolate. Thanks for the recommendations. I'm also a big fan of the Crossfire series. It's great stuff. It seems okay to mention your own books here, so I'll slot mine in! You Don't Know Me by Mandy Lee. People who've read it say it's a real page turner, with a strong plot. A blogger recently said 'This is the novel I've been waiting months to read.' Here's the link to Amazon UK. And the sequel should be ready just after Christmas.

Shadow (book 1 of the Consortium), by Diesel Jester. It's a new author, BDSM with a plot and love story set in a modern day steampunk/dieselpunk reality. I loved the world he created and though there were some editing errors, I really enjoyed the characters and story. I think I read somewhere that book two will come out early next year. I can't wait.

My Billionaire trilogy is part techno-thriller, part BDSM love story; the third volume I'm writing now has more plot than I know what to do with! Heh.
I like stories with sex/love/romance in them too, where the story and the sex/romance are on roughly equal footing.
