Lee | 3 comments Two things that I need help with please, one of the books on his author page is erroneously attributed to him, the Human Resources book. Another Donald Crane wrote that. Secondly, he does not want his real name shown for the eBook Nightfolk that I recently added. I would just suggest deleting it and I guess that would create a new author page for his pseudonym? I'm not sure how that would work, but I think just deleting his name entirely from that work is fine, at least for now.

Thanks in advance,
Laura

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Do you mean this author?
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

I've removed his name from this book:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Because it was published under the name Holly Saknusseneouw, that's the name we need on the book; that that's a pseudonym for Donald Crane is interesting but not required if no editions of the book have been published under that name.

The Human Resource Management book is actually by Donald P. Crane, so that sorts out that issue.

Is there any information about Donald Crane and/or Holly Saknusseneouw you'd like us to add to the author profiles? Bios, author websites, blogs, etc.?

Lee | 3 comments Thanks so much, Cait!

There are bios available on Amazon for both names. That's all I can think of as of yet. I'm not sure if he wants his picture from there on there or not. Let me get back to you on the bios.

Thanks sooo much again! :^D This has made my day, and hopefully his. :^)

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Sure, just let us know.

By the way, if you're in contact with Donald Crane and he's interested in joining the Goodreads Authors program, you can pass along these links for claiming either author profile.

Holly Saknusseneouwe:

Lee | 3 comments I asked him about the bios, and you can pull the Amazon bios for both names. You can use the picture that's there too.

Here's Doc's (Donald's):

Donald Otis Crane is a writer, screenwriter, filmmaker, and historian. His works include "Tales of the New English," "Sincere Sinner," "Off Season," "Last Yankees," "Wicked Sisters," "Leni/Marlene," "Nightfolk" (with Holly Saknusseneouw) and the upcoming novel, "Dreaming of Freydis."
Mr. Crane has also redesigned Soviet-era movie cameras for college film programs, provided essays for the Akureyri Museum of Art in Iceland, and submitted peace proposals to the Mitchell Commission for Northern Ireland that were fortunately never acted upon.

Mr. Crane lives in Framingham, Massachusetts with a cat and an unknown number of flying squirrels.

Holly's:

Born Helle Saknusseneouw in Copenhagen of mixed Polish and Flemish ancestry, Holly moved to Boston at age nineteen to attend art school. She has lived off and on in Massachusetts ever since, working as a translator, designer, historian, and folklorist--an experience that allowed her to simultaneously immerse herself in American culture and be "a Dane of her own making."

Her novel Nightfolk grew out of three experiences: an extended stay at an Adirondack Hotel during the Summer of 1993, a glimpse of what may have been Orson Welles' notebook for a film adaption of "Carmilla", and her own family's wanderings across Europe.

Ms. Saknusseneouw currently resides in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, where she will soon be hibernating for the winter.

He's going to look into claiming the author profiles. He's not currently a GoodReads member, though I told him he definitely should be!

Thanks again, Cait, for all your help!
