Sorry about that! I prefer my ice cream in cartons. Premium, with homemade chocolate sauce and peanuts.

Those are some great titles. With a little adjusting, "The Corpse in the Copse" would work for the work in progress. Except I don't think I've ever heard anyone on the West coast refer to a copse. Hmm.

No, it really isn't a word that you hear anyplace, including the East Coast.

Maybe in England? Or maybe it's archaic there, too.

☯Emily Ginder | 58284 comments I see it used only in English books.

Rebecca Douglass (rdouglass) | 217 comments Well, Death By Ice Cream won, with the deciding vote cast by Mom (who is, after all, in many way the target audience, and I don't just mean because I want my Mom to be proud of me and all that!).

But since that was my title, I'm going to give that ARC to Charlene, who came up with the Corpse in the Cooler, another great title. For that matter, I'd be happy to share with a few others who could enjoy reading and possibly doing a review as soon as it comes out. Feel free to send me a PM and I'll share a PDF or whatever works best with, say, the first five of you! I'll still be fiddling with the MS through December, so I may wait until the new year to share.

Good choice Rebecca! Let us know when it's released!

Charlene (charlenethestickler) I've been away for ten days, so I missed the last days of discussion and voting. I did look up your site and I'm thrilled to have a runner-up title suggestion. I'd love to read the book with the winning title! It was so much fun to do this in the group discussion -- thanks for getting us involved in the creative process.

Rebecca Douglass (rdouglass) | 217 comments After lo, these many weeks, I have managed (I hope) to produce a copy Charlene can read and send it to her!
