I read this book to my girls in the mid 80's. It came with a fabric, not fake fur, teddy bear and a very annoying tape that we had to play in the car. I think the bear was purple or pink. It was a 'he' bear. He was afraid of the dark I think. It included a song with the lines, "chicken squawk, chicken squawk, don't start talking that chicken talk" Please help me find this book. I want to give it to my 1st grandchild!

I just did a Google search on some of the key words, adding "ebay", and got a LOT of possibilities (many of them Teddy Ruxpin, but others as well). You might try seeing if any of them seem right to you.
