Adding cover image causes ISBN error

I attempted to add a cover for this book

Got the following error, even though I didn't touch any fields: "Sorry, you don't have permission to edit ISBN/ASIN for this book. " The ISBN was edited recently by somebody else, in case that's relevant.

I edited another book (adding year and format) and everything went well, so yes, as Jeff noticed, it's something that involves covers

edit: But, the same book from post #2, if I try to add the other details but NOT the cover, I got the same error still, so maybe it's not the cover? From the log, the only other contributor is worldcat

Something "strange", in the edit page of these books that Jeff and I are finding impossible to edit, the ISBN fields are grey and uneditable, I've never seen that before

I'm not seeing what you are seeing, but my permissions are different than yours.

For the book linked in the first post, it looks like a librarian manually added it, yes?

The one linked in the second post appears not to exist?

It was ISBN 9788815093110 and some users had shelved it

Whew. This is my first day with librarian privileges; was pretty sure I was just doing something wrong...

Another factor: The two books I *could* add a cover to did not have an ISBN.
