Katie | 2083 comments Great, Isa! I'm glad you liked it. That Thanksgiving scene is one of the most well known in m/m. :) If you want to read more from her, I suggest her St. Nacho's series, starting with St. Nacho's.

message 303: by Isa (new)

Isa Jones (Jo&Isalovebooks Blog) | 106 comments She has a 2nd book with Tristan and Michael it's called What child is this? (I think) it's like a novelette and what I'm hoping a more structured end/final chapter into these two amazing characters. I saw the other book u said so have added it to my TBR shelf. Watch this space xx

Debra (countrymom6) | 166 comments Finished in bed with a highlander love it!! Give it a 4 star score

message 305: by ⚜️XAR (new)

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) Went off the Pick List slightly and read The Love Potion, since I was able to get it on an inter-library loan. I had actually read it in the past and I remember not liking it that well back then. My opinion hasn't changed on it after the re-read either, but I chalk it up to the "everyone deserves a second chance" philosophy.

message 306: by Hina (new)

Hina (hinaj) | 2581 comments Victoria, I finished reading Born of Night over the weekend and once again fell in love with it. I am going to try to read another books this week and see what else I can add in there.

message 307: by Skandia (new)

Skandia (sfgirl) | 972 comments Finished my second pick Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb .
Not my favorite in series so far but I do like Eve and Roarke and the futuristic setting of the series.

I'm glad you loved it! I haven't read the series in a while...probably should! *goes to add Born of Night to my Meet and Greet shelf!*

Going on to second Naked In Death.

MountainKat | 31599 comments Hi Joyce, I finished my second pick in the wee hours of the morning. I hate time changes, just messes me up - don't matter which direction we go! Anyway, I read Aria and gave it 4 stars. I enjoyed it a lot, but parts were a little predictable or made me want to smack both MCs upside the head!

message 313: by SandyC (new)

SandyC (sandyc88) | 1287 comments I finished a pick, The Corset Diaries by Katie MacAlister . It had many funny moments, but the romance felt forced (and rushed). It was good to try a new author, though!

Brandilyn (brandilynrc) | 869 comments Bre wrote: "Hey Brandilyn,

Finished Dance With Me this morning. It was excellent. Going straight to my favorites shelf :) Thanks for the pick.

Debra (countrymom6) | 166 comments Starting my second pick today - black Lyon by Jude Deveroux ! A trip to library yesterday turned out good got 4 books for November pick it challenge!! Yay

message 317: by ⚜️XAR (new)

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) Finally had to abandon The Princess Bride: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure today. I've been trying to read it but the author that abridged the original novel had the VERY annoying habit of doing a "running commentary" throughout the book by telling the reader what exactly he cut out of the book and why. I got disgusted with it and said "no more!" Will have to see what other trouble I can get into...not exactly sure what book to pick next!

Ty | 1943 comments Hey Ashley!

finished my first PIFM yesterday - Wilde Thing (Wilde Series, #1) by Janelle Denison , 3 stars

It wasn't bad, but wow, it took me a long while to finish it (3 day is long for me!), due to so many distractions - actually, Meet N' Greet didn't help. :D
thanks for the push!

message 323: by Christina (new)

Christina (christinaovallsbooks) | 384 comments Just finished my second pick Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake (Love By Numbers, #1) by Sarah MacLean . Probably going to read Extreme Exposure next, as I have it out on an interlibrary loan and can't renew it.

I just finished Deception by Amanda Quick and really liked it. Thanks for the recommendation--I love the author, but had shied away from some of her early works b/c I tried some that were dated. This one was very fun; I loved the humor. Thanks for the recommendation.

I finished my first pick, French Cooking 101. It was just ok for me, it had potential but was just too short to tell the whole story. I do have the 2nd book, so hopefully that will fill in the holes. :D Thanks for the recommendations, I'm definitely planning on reading at least one more...
