ilovebakedgoods (Teresa) (ilovebakedgoods) | 86 comments Nadine, here are my picks for you. We have different tastes so I really wasn't sure which way to go so I stuck mainly with your shelf. You have so many books on your shelf that sounded good!

Your list made me giggle as a bunch of the books I didn't get to for October made magical reappearances on your list. And I'm always happy to see new m/f books on the list for me. I know my shelves look super heavy m/m but if I ever manage to get all my physical rather than just my digital books updated on GR I've probably read more m/f than anything else. :D

I'm for sure going to go with Among the Living and Between Sinners and Saints, though I'm sure I'll fit a number more in as well! "

I'm glad you like your picks, Shelby. I can't wait to hear what you think about Between Sinners and Saints since it's one of my favorites.

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1512 comments Sandy

We don't have a ton in common on books, but you have a lot of options to choose from so I hope you like these picks as much as I did your's a couple months ago. :)

1. Foodie: Dance Upon the Air by Nora Roberts is my favorite book of this trilogy. Nell comes out of her shell to take her life back and fall in love while learning a few new skills. Of you can check out Fool for Love by Beth Ciotta which has a similar theme, but with a bit more humor, plus I just love the idea of how the cupcake club was started.

Dance Upon the Air (Three Sisters Island, #1) by Nora Roberts Fool for Love (Cupcake Lovers, #1) by Beth Ciotta

2. Techie: Both of these are sort of in the future and from your TBR. After Dark by Jayne Castle is in a future on a different planet where people have gained powers (and find dust bunny pets). Lydia has had a major career setback and is trying to work her way back to respectable/academic standards when she finds a dead body while meeting her new client. Or continue on in the In Death series with Holiday in Death by J.D. Robb and enjoy Eve and Roarke's holiday case.

After Dark (Harmony #1) by Jayne Castle Holiday in Death (In Death, #7) by J.D. Robb

3. Fashionista: The dress makes this cover - My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent and you seem to like YA, so hopefully you'll enjoy this take on banshees. Or check out this light and humorous romance about a klutzy model - Risky Business by Suzanne Macpherson.

My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, #1) by Rachel Vincent Risky Business by Suzanne Macpherson

4. Kiddies: You have some great choices on your TBR. Charming the Prince by Teresa Medeiros has a veritable brood of children that are overrunning the castle. Or Smitten by Janet Evanovich has a single mom desperate for a job seeking out nearby construction work.

Charming the Prince (Fairy Tales, #1) by Teresa Medeiros Smitten by Janet Evanovich

5. Traveler: I had a difficult time remembering if books took place in multiple countries, so I went with Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips which is set in England and had a chance of visiting nearby countries, plus is a very interesting take on the Greek gods living in current times.

Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips

6. Artistically Inclined: The first features actors as the heroine heads to England to star in a reality show about life in historical times. I really enjoyed this story as it was humorous with heart. I really like this cover and think all young girls should read this after any Disney princess story to put things in a more realistic place. Princess Academy by Shannon Hale.

The Corset Diaries by Katie MacAlister Princess Academy by Shannon Hale

7. Book Lover: Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep is at a 4.0 and my favorite YA series right now. I love the mix of mythologies and the main character as she learns her place in this strange to her world. Or you can read historical where the heroine is a novelist in Crystal Gardens by Amanda Quick. Evangeline is curious about the nearby manor and the rumors and she and Lucas discover a greater plot.

Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy, #1) by Jennifer Estep Crystal Gardens (Ladies of Lantern Street, #1) by Amanda Quick

8. Stocking Stuffer: Fun take on one of Santa's hunky son's who is a baker in Sweet Inspirations by Penny Watson. Or check out this really good short story (that you rec'd to me) Love at First Date by Susan Hatler.

Sweet Inspiration (Klaus Brothers, #1) by Penny Watson Love At First Date (Better Date Than Never #1) by Susan Hatler

Hi Erin!

Ooh, so many pretties, thank you! I'll definitely read Disasterology 101 by Taylor V. Donovan and I'll see what else I can fit in. :)

Erin (erin-b) Thanks for the excellent list Gea! I think I'll start with Thankless in Death. I've been looking forward to that one. Hopefully I'll have time for at least one more after that. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, we have been busily making arrangements to get our house tented for termites and it has been really hectic. Anyway, thanks for the picks, I'm looking forward to reading them!

1. Foodie
Hot in Here - I figure a chef counts for a foodie right? (on to-read)

2. Techie
Immortal in Death - you gave both the earlier books 4 stars each, so why not continue the series ;) (not on your shelf)

3. Fashionista
Cowboy Casanova - all of LJ's covers are kinda hot ;) and you've given the rest of the series decent reviews (not on your shelf)

4. Kiddies
A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift - christmas and family in the title...I think that works ;) (not on your shelf)

5. Traveler
Fish & Chips - on your shelf - and it takes place on a cruise ship visiting various places (on your shelf)

6. Artistically Inclined
One Reckless Summer - I love non-ppl based covers and this one is just whimsicle (on your shelf)

7. Book Lover
The Time Between - I recently read this and the 4+ star rating is totally justified - I hope you enjoy it like I did (not on your shelf)

Debra,
These look great! Thank you so much. There are several on here that I want to read right away - the Pink Carnation one, the Just This Once one, as well as the J.D. Robb and Miranda Bliss ones. (I have already started the both those series, so I can read the next entry in each if I get that far.) In fact, a few minutes ago, I just downloaded the Grosvenor Square one onto my tablet, because I am traveling this week and needed some to take with me on my e-reader. I would love to do a BR for the Kleypas one, but I can't start it until about mid-month, if that is okay.

Thanks again for such great picks! I am going to see how many of them I can read this month because they all look good.

Hi Daffodil,

Update: I actually managed to read both of these books.
