Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
"
You too, Hina!

I just finished my fourth PIFM book this month, Born in Fire, and really liked it.

I finished a second pick

I'll start

Thanks for the picks!

So what you're telling me is even though I liked the first two books (loved the first actually) I probably should just borrow

Probably.... I don't want to tell you what to do... But I finished and my first thought was "huh" and "what the heck was that?"

Glad you enjoyed this one! It's one of my all time favorites. I just love the glass blowing aspects of it. :)

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving :)
I finished my 5th pick last night, Acrobat. I think Breann' s review of the book summed it up best, LOL. I liked parts of it and thought parts of it were unnecessary, repetitive (waggling eyebrows), and unbelievable. But yet I did enjoy some of it (Dreo) and it held my interest. 3.5* from me. I can't wait to hear what you thought of it!
Thanks for all the great picks this month! I plan on reading a few more in December :)

I wish it all did :)

another great challenge, Thank you Hina for hosting :)

I ended up getting the Galaxy s4. I'm having fun playing with it, it's so different than the iPhone, it's going to take some getting used to. But so far I really like it. I was so torn in the store, between the s4 and the Note 3. But my teen boys pleaded with me not to get the huge phone, lol. And the s4 ended up being free with my iphone trade in, that that was a real plus :)
I think I am going to get the Note next time though.....only 2 years to wait....

Sorry for not responding sooner-I finished A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift
Good book Thanks for recommending it!!

Glad you liked your picks, Fran! I finished Acrobat this morning, and I pretty much agree with you (although I had to go back and read Breann's review before I commented). I gave it 4 stars, but it's a low 4...I liked the characters within the core group, could have done without some of the lesser characters, and I liked the plot but not always the execution of it. Like you, it kept my interest but it sure didn't leave me burning to run right out and read something else by the author...
We had a very nice Thanksgiving, but I'm so glad to be home and have things finally getting a little back to normal. I hope you had a good holiday weekend, too! :-)

I did, too--Nora Roberts is so good at those fantasy elements (and I could dream of being an artist in Ireland). Thanks again.

I forgot to add that I also finished Where'd You Go, Bernadette on 11/30. I just thought it was okay and gave it 2 stars. Thanks for motivating me to finish it in time!
Thanks again for all of the rec's!

Life got in the way so I didn't get to as many picks as I wanted but I did read
Slade and Unwrapped and they were both great. I'm hoping to get Dangerous Curves Ahead next month.
