Although I brave the crowds on Black Friday and I have my eye out for bargains all year round, I would say I'm an Uber Planner. I start buying Christmas right after the holidays. If I find something I know so-and-so will like, I go ahead and purchase it and it goes in my Christmas basket. I make lists to keep track of what I've bought and what I still need to be on the lookout for. Yep, definitely Uber Planner.
wow. I am like... all three of those at different times of the holiday season. sooo, put me where ever you need me! :D
I am in!!Bargain shopper for me! It is tradition for our friends and us to go out Black Friday...then to breakfast!
***Please also use my "on deck" shelf!
As much as I love a bargain, I just can't stand the crowds if I really don't have to be in one, so I usually avoid Black Friday...:) I rather plan it all from the first. I think Cyber Mondays is where I usually shop for a bargain.
I am a MAJOR planner in all aspects of my life EXCEPT shopping. I hate to shop... It's my least favorite chore in all the world so I avoid it as much as possible. So, please put me in the Down to the Wire ProcrastinatorAlso, please make at least 1 pick from my November shelf and then you can have free rein on my, too big for me, To Read Shelf.

I'm in--although I think that I'm pretty middle of the road, there's always a last minute item, so I'm more of a down to the wire shopper.
I HATE shopping, so it's Down to the wire procrastinator for me.Please use my read-this-next shelf to pick a few.
I hate shopping and most ppl just get gift certificates - if anything...so down to the wire procrastinator i guess
I don't like to shop and I'm not big on giving gifts, so I would be a 'down to the wire procrastinator'.
I'm in and its Down to the Wire Procrastinator
I am definitely a down to the wire procrastinator... Most people will probably end up with gift certificates.
I'm in!! And if have to say I'm a down to the wire !! Yet I always try to plan ahead but. Never have time so it's always down to the last few days!! So down to wire !! Maybe this year won't be so bad
Definitely Down to the Wire Procrastinator although I always have good intentions of being an early shopper!
I am most definitely not a procrastinator, nor am I a Uber Planner. So I guess that makes me a Bargain Shopper. Mostly I shop online - this is where my Amazon Prime pays off!!ETA: Oops, forgot to add my preferred shelf - I do that every month!! Please use my to-read-asap shelf, thanks!
Though I don't do my shopping until around all the bargain sales, I find out what everyone wants, or nearly everyone, before hand, so I'm going with uber planner. Please use my MMToRead for at least a couple of them.
Shopping for holiday gifts is one of the only shopping-related activities I actually enjoy, and I try to plan it out ahead of time, so I'll go with Uber Planner.
Our family has almost completely done away with Christmas gifts (except for the little kids), so the majority of my shopping this time of year is for things like electronics, etc. that I've delayed buying purposely to get the holiday deals. I guess that puts me firmly in the Bargain Shopper category!EDIT: Oops, I forgot to add that I would appreciate some picks from my cant-wait-to-read shelf...thanks!
I'm the worst Down to the Wire Procrastinator ever! I've been dubbed the Goddess of Procrastination by many. I'd love it if you'd use my GB picked shelf first, but you are by no means restricted to it.
I don't shop for gifts, save for my children, I craft them, so I would be an Uber Planner. Please use my Pick It For Me shelf when selecting picks for me!
I'm a bit of all 3. I plan some, I'm last minute because I mean you can always use some extra stocking suffers and who doesn't love a bargain. For this I'm going to go with Down to the Wire Procrastinator, please use my soonish-or-up-next shelf. Thanks
Wow, I bought some gifts in March, and I make lists but I'm always shopping right until the end and who doesn't like a deal; so I'm all three so put me down to wherever you need an extra body.
I'm a procrastinator at the best of times but when planning special events it's got be the uber planner for me.Please use my my link text

The Pick-It-For-Me Challenge (PIFM) is a reading challenge where each participant gives and receives book recommendations based on a given a set of rules. The assignment method and book selection rules change each month so it’s always new and always different.
After signups are closed, I'll put your names and any extra info I’ve required into the super secret PIFM randomizer and select someone for you to choose for. This will get posted along with the rules for the month.
While you're doing your picks, someone else is doing picks for you. Once you receive them, you pick a book off the list and get reading. To complete the challenge, you only have to read 1 (one) book but many of us end up reading more because we just can't resist a list of books to read.
In order to participate you need to either HAVE YOUR PROFILE SET TO PUBLIC (preferable), or make the person who will be giving you recommendations your friend. On top of that, I strongly recommend keeping your bookshelves updated; otherwise you might end up with a recommendation that you have already read.
Everything gets done in this thread so be sure to come back often!!!
***TIPS TO MAKE THE CHALLENGE ENJOYABLE FOR EVERYONE!***
1. Check the publishing date of the book before recommending it. To check the publishing date, from your pickee's to-read or similar shelf choose shelf settings, select "date pub" from the drop down selections and save/close the menu.
2. Check pickee's personalized shelves, especially their exclusive shelves - it could be very helpful in recommending something they want to read. A personalized shelf is one that a member has labeled themselves, for example, 'to read next', 'can't wait to read', 'favorites'.
3. Look at your pickee's 'read' shelf and see what genres they have recently read the most. That might help in choosing something they are interested in reading right now.
4. Please make sure the books you choose for your pickee are not on their 'read' shelf. Just because it isn't rated doesn't mean it wasn't read. Sometimes the reader may choose not to rate a book.
5. Although Buddy Reads are no longer going to be offered as a category, if there is a recommendation that you give your pickee that you would like to read with them, please feel free to suggest a Buddy Read with them. You can PM each other and discuss it.
6. If your pickee reads lots of books in a genre you are not familiar with (erotic romance, GLBT, YA, etc.), feel free to contact either Fran, Dee, Jane or the month's organizer and they can try to point you in the right direction for recommendations.
7. If possible, try to include a shorter book, a longer book, a new addition to their 'to-read' shelf, and and older book from their 'to-read' shelf. This gives them a variety of options to choose from. You can sort the shelves by many features - ratings, date read, date added, date published, #of pages and many other items from the shelf settings as described in tip #1. And they can be sorted by ascending or descending order as well.
8. Please choose at least 4 new titles for your pickee. These should be brand new to them and not found on any of their shelves. Part of the fun of this challenge is discovering new books to read, adding new titles to the ever-expanding tbr shelf. The remaining 4 titles should come from your pickee's tbr or preferred shelves.
