I have The Light in the Ruins and have tried to start it this weekend, but I was too busy with other things. I'll start it after work today.
I have met him & gone to a book reading/signing of his & he does a lot of social networking....when I asked him a question at the reading, he asked my name & I said Becky & he said Becky Talerico Murray???? LOL it was a funny moment!!
& he is from VT & that is the next state over from me so we have conversed about that also & my son went to college in Burlington....he is a very nice guy....I love his books, would be hard to pick a favorite...
Midwives was the first of his books I read...I actually think Skeletons at the Feast was my favorite & The Night Strangers was very good & a big change for him, creepy lol
I enjoyed this book quite a bit, until the very end. I won't give any spoilers, but it seemed like it all wrapped up too quick or too easily at the end. I can't say what I would have been expecting differently, but I remember thinking something like "What? It can't be going to end this easily!" But overall, I like Bohjalian and want to read The Sandcastle Girls. I enjoyed The Night Strangers a lot.
