Would anyone be interested in reading this with me? It will be a reread for me, but it is an awesome book.

**If you feel like putting it down and walking away durig the first third or so of the book, DON'T! I promise this read is worth it!

I have never done a buddy read, so this will be new, interesting, fun and a little scary for me.

Come read with me!
Lisa :)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments I would love to read this with you but won't have time to start until November.

In the future, you should post in here to find someone to read with and set a date before creating a thread.

Let me know if you are willing to postpone rereading this book and I will join!!

Thanks. Sorry. :) I can postpone... and try this again. Got a little ahead of myself... still learning.

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Here the thread is. LOL I am going to try this on the 10th, although I'm pretty busy through most of Nov. I know this book should be a good read!

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments yay! plus it should count for the November genre challenge.

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments November genre challenge? What's that? I can't keep up! It sure is fun trying though! LOL

Trisha | 30284 comments This is, hands down, one of my favorite books. I Hope you guys love it!

I bought it and I haven't seen the book since I finished it! I've passed it to everyone I can think of to read! It's so good.

Just TRUST US, Get through part 1. It's slow before then, but it's because it's setting up the whole story. Push through, you will be SO glad you did!

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments OH, I am SO forgetful. I have to look and see if I am in that challenge. LOL I have read and am reading horror this month, so I must be. There are so many challenges I always forget which ones are which. LOL

I definitely trust your judgment! I think I had read a review where the person didn't like it and I wasn't sure I'd read it. But definitely I am now.

message 14: by Mandiann (new)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments I won't be starting this until tomorrow. I am finished up a few books tonight. Really excited for it though, I love historical fiction.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Me too... the 10th snuck up on me. ;)

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Anyone reading? I am slowly... cold/allergy and Nyquil are keeping me from reading too fast.

message 17: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I haven't begun it yet, and I'm not sure when I will. I'm doing a 5-6 hour drive Saturday to go to my grandson's 18th birthday party and coming back Sunday. I'm the only driver so that's a lot of lost reading time. I'm so sorry! I'll do what I can, when I can.

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments Sorry I didn't update sooner but I broke my phone over the weekend and didn't have much time to access my computer. I read it in about two days and oh wow!! What an amazing book!! I love historical fiction and this one is so very heartbreaking but beautifully written. I didn't find the first third of the book hard to get through but I did like the Kittyhawk part the best. I cried when (view spoiler).
