Thanks for responding! I am fairly certain that it's adult fiction, there were some pretty heavy themes and all the characters were 18+ (not that ya doesn't have heavy themes, but you know.. ) the title definitely didn't have butterfly in it... It's also at least 5-10 years old I think

Elsewhere, a corporation disguised as a charity to help abandoned or orphaned children is suspected of kidnapping children and losing their records. The mother of one of these children is looking to find the child she gave up for adoption (was an addict, now recovered) and the corporation is giving her the run around.
On a boat, a couple is looked after by their doctor. Strict diet and odd injections keeps them healthy and young looking. Turns out the woman from this relationship is the famous singer who is using this weird part of the children to keep herself young due to desperately massive fear of dying.
