We only had 10 members come to our meeting on October 9! Was it because people didn't read the book, didn't like the book, or just had conflicts? People want to know!

I enjoyed this novel for the most part. It took me awhile to really get hooked on it though. But I'm really glad I read it. Now I know so much more about the value of shortstops. And it was fun to read it during baseball season. I'm really looking forward to the author's talk on November 2 in Thousand Oaks. Only two more weeks!
