Combining books - a newbie question

Hi! I'm a new librarian, making my first edits, and I'm not sure how I go about combining books.

There are two entries for the same book:

Cornered : The new monopoly capitalism and the economics of destruction
Cornered: The New Monopoly Capitalism and the Economics of Destruction

The first one is the true entry, the other just an empty stub. I've been trying to combine them, but didn't quite manage... How should I go about this?

1) Nothing there needs deletion. Both entries have ISBNs; neither is a "stub".

2) If the authors don't match exactly, you won't be able to combine them. Edit the author on the book that has Barry Lynn to Barry C. Lynn and you'll be able to combine them.
