Revealed question

When I started the HoN series I was maybe about 13 or 14, so I really really enjoyed them. And I still enjoy them tremendously, but I wouldn't categorize them as a 'good' book, yaknow? I love the concept and idea of the vampyres, and their religion with Nyx, the only thing that bothers me are the characters (especially Zoey and the Twins, for some reason), though I love love love Aphrodite and I like Stevie Rae.

It's definitely my guilty pleasure.

I started reading the HoN series when I was 14 and I received a box set of the first 4 books in paperback. They were the second series I had ever read (After Twilight- which is what got me into reading). When I first got the books all I knew was that they were about vampires, and I still LOVE vampire books today! These books are definitely a guilty pleasure series for me for sure! I cannot wait for the 12th book to come out honestly!! I am SOOOO Excited and yet sad that the series will be ending. I have never re-read all the books that I do have of the series (11 of them)- but I do want to re-read them! I read all of the books in a few days after receiving them and even though I am a young adult now- not a teenager anymore- I still LOVE the series and I would like to re-read it. The whole series is just so captivating, all of the books are just captivating in my opinion and when I get them I read them right away!! So yes, the HoN series is like a guilty pleasure read of mine that I just love to read for enjoyment. I would like to re-read the series this summer actually because they are shorter books that I know I can just fly through, and I would love to re-read them before the 12th and I believe final book comes out this October. :)

Okay, two things:

A) I fucking hate the term "guilty pleasure."
B) This series is IN NO WAY a pleasure.

So, no.

I love Aphrodite and Kalona. They're the only reasons I keep reading these books.

I mainly read it purely for something to read if that makes sense? I like to be able to have a book to read at all times, so I use this series to read while I'm waiting for other decent books to come out. I don't really enjoy it anymore, but some characters make it bearable for me like Aphrodite, Damien and Shaylin. :)
