I like the characters but I find it gets really silly at times but I am still interested enough that I am still watching
I watch it and I'm enjoying it too, precisely because it's silly and fun. Who knew Ichabod Crane could ever be sexy? lol
I was actually surprised upon watching the pilot, I was like how the hell are they going to bring it into our time frame that sounds so dumb. My only complaint because I hate continuity issues is the fact they all have been wearing the same clothes for like a 3 week time span.... I know its dumb its just one of those things I do lol
I've only seen the pilot but have the rest DVR'd. Can't wait to find the time to watch them. ~ Kim S.

I watch sleepy hollow and I must say I'm really enjoying it so far.

I'm liking the show a lot. I love the pacing of the episodes and enjoy all the characters so far.

I'm really enjoying it. The actor playing Ichabod is able to make being from another time believable, to use longer words but not come off obtuse, and he's funny. The female lead is great, and their dynamics compelling. I like the way the larger story is unfolding, too.
At first I liked that Abbey's boss the sheriff in the pilot was played by Clancy Brown, who got his head chopped off with an ax. (That's in the credits, so it's not a spoiler, right?) Anyway, I liked it because he was the Immortal baddie in the pilot to "Highlander."In the last episode Abbey says they should get Ichabod some new clothes, with oh modern things like buttons, but first they go solve a mystery. I found it amusing in that episode that Middle English came to him so easily.
I like that he studied it at Cambridge (I think he said) I had a friend in college that actually studied it.... never thought about it again till that episode of Sleepy lol

It would be fun to see Adrian Paul -- he played the very sexy Highlander for many years on tv-- in an episode of this show!
I hope Clancy Brown's character keeps coming back to her in visions. Just like I hope we keep seeing John Cho's character, wrinkled neck skin and all.

My only complaint because I hate continuity issues is t..."Rick, that's been driving me insane, too!!! i keep complaining to my partner that girl really needs to take her pal to the store and get him some new clothes (and while they're at it, some new shoes, because cops don't generally run into hostage situations in 3" heels). i mean, they did have the one scene where he's washing his shirt in the hotel room sink, but does he do that every day?
overall, the show is silly as hell and requires epic suspension of disbelief. it would be unbearable if they took themselves seriously, but it's a whole lot of fun, they're having fun with it (aaak! the on-star scene! hahahahahaha!), and yes indeedy ichabod is a major hottie.
its not just Ichabod though..... no one changes their clothes lmfao

While the boots are nice and he does look good in what he's wearing, most of the time it's not very practical. I understand his female cop buddy (sorry forgot her name right now) being in uniforms but yes did wonder about her having boots with heels on if she's in "regulation uniform".
Besides that I am enjoying the show but was disappointed last night that after only 3 weeks they replayed the pilot instead of a new show!
Same here I even had to check the channel to make sure I had it on the right one. Very disappointing.
Because it's a show with an ongoing storyline, they're clearly trying to let new viewers catch up. I don't mind that. I want it to have plenty of viewers and stay on the air. Almost every show on TV has the women characters in heels even though it doesn't make any sense based on their jobs. It's a stupid society thing, that women are only attractive in high heels. At least the two sisters dress practically and in clothes their characters could afford, and have hair styles that a woman could do on her own at home—unlike most shows. They're not dressed to exploit them sexually, no ridiculously low-cut tops and camera angles focused on their butts. So, I can forgive the heels.
The folks at Fox said they skipped a couple weeks because of baseball games that aired. It'll be back on tomorrow night though. :)
I love Abby (Nicole Beharie's character). She and Ichabod work well together.
I enjoyed the first episodes more than the ones lately. Its getting a bit repetitive but hope that stops

I'm enjoying it, but am worried that they may not be able to maintain the interest factor. At some point, they have to defeat the Headless Horseman. Worried that there's no real overarching plan and that they are making it up as they go along "LOST" style.

Thought it was silly on first viewing. Now we watch every episode. It kind of grows on you.

I agree. Once Upon a Time had a promising start but it's just become too silly and dumb. I stopped watching last season and only watch the Hook scenes on youtube now. :)

also, there's little station-identification moments at the start or end of commercial breaks where the characters are all standing around a blank but sort of dark set, and there's a zoom in on ichabod's face where he starts to smirkily raise an eyebrow at us. yeah, he knows he's a hottie.
Maybe he knows that he should smell like a hint of vinegar, hot august sun baked mayonaise, garlic and hotdog water

Me too, not too far away now. :) This series is interesting because it's one where the premise could turn it into something completely ridiculous, but I think they've done a good job with it and I enjoy the show.
