adding secondary author name to books

Hi, I'm trying to add author names to 2 books that are the same just published under different names but the GR system won't accept/show this change. Can some other librarian/superlibrarian help out with this.

The authors are K.T. Dalton and Kristine Dalton. The books are Looking Out for Lexy and Looking Out for Lexy.

Looking at those covers I think that there is one author for each book. I'm gonna make that change. Feel free to revert if feel wrong.

EDIT: Actually, I'm not sure.. Banjomike can you revert my edit on the first book and look into it. The covers show ONLY one author. If the book cover itself doesn't credit the author for that edition, how can the GR catalog?

Jaideep, please DO NOT do that. It's actually a bit of a pain to add a similar author name. And as a general rule, please don't undo another librarian's work -- especially a superlibrarian's -- without asking FIRST to be sure you know all the details.

Undone, and two editions combined properly.

If you look on this page for all editions of that book you will see that the author first used "K.T. Dalton" on the book (back in 2006) then changed her writing name to "Kristine Dalton" (in 2013). We use the old name as the primary author so that all the various editions can be combined. We add her new name to the book so that all the editions will appear on the page of the authors new name.
