Megan Ashley | 1 comments Help!

I need help finding more gut-wrenching stories to read. I'm simply addicted. I even created a list in hopes others would contribute and help me and others discover great content.

Kristie | 5929 comments Have you read Me Before You? Not necessarily a sob out loud book, but definitely a tear jerker. The Storyteller was also good. Also not a sobbing book, but emotional. I've heard great things about The Book Thief too and I believe that one will make you sob.

How about some older books like The Notebook or Marley & Me?

•*°●☆Paula May☆●°*• Personnel Experiences by Tracy Lee Had me full on sobbing onto my kindle as did Falling in to you by Jasinda Wilder....Oh and Fear of falling by S.L Jennings is a real tear jerker as well. I'm sure Iv got more but would need to go through my kindle to find them :)

Tess (books.with.tess) (bookswithtess) ONE book has made me bawl my eyes out. The really, really ugly cry. And that's "Me before you" by Jojo Moyes.

Gotobedmouse "Light between the Oceans" by ML Steadman is the book that had me crying the most this year. All of part three I was sobbing. I was on the front porch reading and just bailing to the point a neighbor came over and asked me if I was okay, my husband got in trouble for the actions of the characters in the book (he hates that and tries to hand me an erotica book) :) One of the best I have read this year.

Viktorija (ViktorijaWinters) | 106 comments OMG you're my kind of person! I love books that make me curl up and cry my heart out. I think 'The Book Thief' tops the cake for me. And I strongly suggest 'A Monster Calls'. Wow...

I actually thought I was going to make it through this book without the tears. WRONG!
I was about 80% in and my eyes were still bone dry, but as soon as I hit a certain scene, my eyes started leaking and didn't stop. I'm talking about "had to take a break every five pages so I could wipe my eyes and be able to read the words" crying!

I cried so hard that I had a headach for two days after I finished it, but it was worth every tear and the headache! :D

Meagan | 65 comments I cried a whole bunch in the last Harry Potter book. (The Deathly Hallows) I sobbed out loud for like an hour at least. The Fault in Our Stars didn't make me cry but I was really really sad for a few days after I finished it.

Kelly (and the Book Boar) If you have not yet read The Fault in Our Stars, today is the day to buy it. $2.99 on Kindle and Google Play, $3.99 on iBooks.

Please note the $47.00 worth of Kleenex you will use is not included ; )
