Beorn (bsceadugenga) | 227 comments Long story short, earlier in the year I read and reviewed an early pre-release sampler of the first five chapters of Stormbird.
Now that the full version is out, is there any way that I can write a separate review of the full version or, because it counts as a different edition of the same book, am I locked into having to replace my review of the sampler with the one I'll write of the full version?
Also, on a purely trivial level, will the full version count as an extra tally on the how many books I've read by Iggulden thing ('Most Read Authors') or just as having read the same book twice. I ask mainly because the website doesn't seem to accommodate you reading more than one edition of the same book so I'm kind of at a loss of say, how to review the full version in comparison to the sampler etc.

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments You can review multiple editions of the same book each having a different review

That said a 5 chapter book will not be combined with the full version so you can add and review both and have both count in the number of books read

Beorn (bsceadugenga) | 227 comments Ah, fair enough. It was just confusing as when I tried to add the full version to my 'to read' pile, I had to change it from 'read', even though I'd only already read the sampler and not the full version.
