((Decisions, decisions. They'd both have really great conclusions. I can't choose. You choose!))

Finn sighed, attempting his best to help her out. But that was a difficult task when his girlfriend was so stubborn and adamant to do things on her own. They had been in a rush to get to the dance, since they were already late, and instead got stuck once again. They were sure that Alana's ankle was broken from her fall and he was quite ignorant in the field of healing. "C'mon Richie. Take it easy." Finn murmured. The use of her surname had become more of an affectionate nickname.
"Take it easy? Look at my jacked up ankle, Finn! I can't walk another step like this, and I dressed up in this costume for nothing. It didn't even get me any sexy time with my man," she groaned and sprawled out with her back against the ground. "I hate the world. Just leave me here to die or shoot me. I'm like a horse. I'm useless with a broken ankle!" Was it really broken? She was hoping that it was just a little busted up. Broken bones sucked.

Her sigh matched his perfectly. "Yeah, I know. It just really hurts." She turned her head to look at him. "Maybe a faerie can fix it, or I can just turn into a vampire, and it'll fix itself?" She looked up at the stars and outlined Orion's Belt. "Thanks...for putting up with me. I know I can be obnoxious and whiney. So, you know, thank you for caring and stuff." She reached out to him and grabbed one of his hands, bending her tears away from herself so that she would stop crying.

She blew out a long breath and hobbled around the directory. She wasn't going anywhere in particular, just trying to see if maybe she could walk without assistance. She couldn't. She stayed where she was and tried to figure out who could be calling Finn at a time like this. It was so late at night. That's none of your business. He can talk to whoever he wants on the phone, but what if it's a girl? Don't be ridiculous! He...he wouldn't do that to you...he wouldn't. She gazed over at him, worried.
((Do you want Hu and Finn to have a convo or...you can just make it all up if you want lol))
((Do you want Hu and Finn to have a convo or...you can just make it all up if you want lol))

She looked at him with a shocked expression. "That was Hu? Oh, my. How is he doing? How's your mom and brother? What's going on? Is there some kind of trouble with the government again?" She started to hyperventilate at the last question and took slow, deep breaths. She didn't mean to pile so many questions onto him. She was just happy that he had his dad back again and worried about the government ever coming back. They will. I can feel it.

Tears sprung forward in her eyes yet again, and this time it wasn't because of her ankle hurting. "They're back," she whispered. She shook her head vigorously and started to bawl. "No! No!" She looked away from him and tried to stand again. "I can't go back there, Finn. I can't. I won't!" She tried her hardest to run off, but she just toppled over onto her hands and knees. She cried and cried and cried.
((@AlanaIsHavingABreakdown))
((@AlanaIsHavingABreakdown))

His own chest seemed to tighten at the sight of her so upset. He knew she would if he told her, which was the exact reason why he didn't want to tell her in the first place. It was only reasonable that she would take it badly. She had been through hell and back when she had been kidnapped. And now he would do everything in his power to make sure that no government agents touched a hair on her body. Creeping forward, he wrapped his arm around her thin waist, pulling her sobbing body into his arms. With his embrace, Finn pressed his hand to her cheek, rubbing away her tears. "Please don't cry." He begged her.
((I want a guy like Finn. No, Asher. No...ugh! I want all your guys!))
She looked into his eyes, a few more tears slipping down her face. "I know I'm being a baby, and I know that it's stupid of me to be crying so hard, but I don't want to go back, Finn. Please, don't let them take me back. Please," she started to cry hard again and pressed her face against his chest. She shook with each violent sob. They might not take her again, but she couldn't trust a 'might not'. She needed to hear it from him, from Finn, that she wouldn't be taken again. She needed to know that he was going to be right by her side and everything was going to be okay.

He understand why she was crying and knew that she had every right to do so. But it hurt so badly for him to see her this way. In no way was she being a baby. She was being someone with a heart and real emotions. "I won't let anything happen to you, Alana." He promised her with sincere eyes. His only fear was that something would happen and he wouldn't be there to protect her. It would be all of his fault again if she were to get kidnapped again. Why did they want her anyway? Because she could bend two elements?
((Give them to me *licks lips*))
She wiped at her eyes and looked back up at him. What she found in his eyes was true sincerity and compassion. He meant what he said. He would try to keep her safe, and that was all that mattered to her. So what if she was like a hopeless damsel in distress. She had Finn to be her knight in shinning armor and come to her rescue. She used to be tougher than this, but the government seriously broke her down. She wasn't the strong girl she used to be. Now, she was a crybaby that depended on one guy to always save her. She didn't like it one bit, but she wasn't willing to fight just yet. "I would like to go home and rest now," she sniffled.

His dark eyes stared into her lighter ones, trying to convey the message he spoke with expressions. She deserved the best, not all of this conflict and trouble. He didn't want her to have to go through any of that torture ever again. He would be damned if he ever let anyone from the government hurt her again. Or if anyone rubbed her the wrong way, they would have to take up a conversation with him. "Yeah...yeah, I'll drop you off." Finn murmured, a sorrowed expression replacing his features. Because of her dead ankle, he decided to lift her in his arms rather than stumble to her dorm.
((Awwwww, yes they are <3 Even when she's being biiiitchy))
She touched his soft face. He did look absolutely adorable with his mustache on. She didn't want to be a burden on him but figured that ship sailed the day they met, and yet, he still stuck by her. It was already bad enough that he had to carry her all the way to her dorm, but she was about to ask him something that he may not want to do. "Uh, Finn..." she started, biting her lip and trying to figure out if she should continue with her question or not. She decided to go for it. "Would you...maybe...stay with me tonight?" She looked into his eyes. If she saw any flash of reluctance, uncertainty, or annoyance, she would call it off and say never mind. He was already doing more for her than she deserved.

He dug his arms under her legs and her other under her back, using his biceps to aid him in picking her off of the ground. She was much lighter than he remembered her being. Of course, the last time he had carried her around was when they were running out of a burning building. Was she not eating very well? He hugged her body close to his chest as if he was already tuning into his role as her protector. Standing to his feet with her in his arms, he listened to her question, a surprised expression on his features. "Are you sure you want me to? I-I mean...I want to but, do you want me to...?" Finn stuttered.
((Seriously, though. I couldn't live without them))
She blinked a few times, like a small, fragile, innocent child. She couldn't see anything in his features that told her he didn't really want to stay with her. So, she assumed that he must have been telling the truth. They would be slumbering together. Imagining herself tucked up under the covers in his arms with his warm breath on her neck as he slept made her smile and want him to stay even more. "Yes, I'm sure. I really would like for you to stay with me," she murmured and kissed his cheek for a few seconds.

A sheepish grin to his lips at her answer. The other night that they spent tofether was because he had been injured and she was looking after him. Now, she had hurt her ankle and he wanted to protect her from the government. He had an inkling that if he didn't watch out, someone would take her right from under his arms. He squeezed her body against his chest, ridding his mind of the thought. "Maybe, you would still like to show me your costume." Finn prompted as a whisper in her ear, in attempt to get her mind on other things.
((Last night I was feeling pretty emotional (view spoiler) , and I cried at this conversation. I don't even know why it hit me so hard, but it did lol))
Her heart seemed to dislocate from its position and pound around her chest and tickled her stomach in a butterfly-like manner, which was a weird analogy but still. She bit her bottom lip and nodded slowly. "Of course. Would you like to see it on me or off of me?" She added the last part in a purr. Her intentions were pure, though. She only expected them to wrap up in the blankets together and sleep, but she also liked to tease and see his reaction when she did so. She knew already that Finn was the guy for her. So, it wasn't like she was opposed to the idea of anything sexual, but she did think of it a better idea for them to wait, just like he had said earlier.

His eyebrows shot up high on his forehead, genuinely suprised by her reaction. He didn't know whether she would have smacked him or well, done something like that. Honestly, he wanted to rip that costume off of her, but he had enough self control and dignity and respect to know that that was not the way to go. They had only just recently started dating, and he didn't want things to go fast. But even if she was offering to have sex with him, it wouldn't be just sex. It would be love and creating a connection between them that no one else would ever see. "Off sounds pretty good to me." Finn growled slightly, as if he was a predator, which he was, and she was his prey.
((Yes, yes, yes! Please!!!!!!! You want me to post at her dorm or whereves?))

Impatient with the time they were taking, he felt that all of them were acting like sitting ducks until some new government agent came and attacked them. He felt exposed to the world and just wanted to get where they needed as fast as they could. "Guys! The teachers are waiting for us at the directory." Finn informed the rest of the students following behind as he tucked his phone in his pocket again.
With the way things were going, Bellamy was confident that he would get his younger sister back soon. She was a fearless soldier but he knew her well enough to know when she was faking it. He spotted three adults at the directory, awaiting for their arrival. "How are we doing this?" He asked the teachers, looking at all of them as they approached.
"Like this." Ivan pulled out his phone and showed them a map that had markings set all over it, showing them their plan of attack. In the next moment, he sent the image to all of the resistance team member's phones.
((I feel like a secret agent.))
Todd was trying to explain to L that doves were very peaceful birds. "It's one of the things they're known for," but L wasn't buying it.
"Then why did it attack me?" L had his hands stuffed into his pockets and his back hunched over. "Never mind. How about you tell us who your lady is?" That made Todd grow quiet.
Daniellasa was trying to calm herself down. She was pretty angry about having lost Jonesy, and she was angry that Roy and Alix hadn't joined them on their quest to the directory. They were too busy crying over each other. She'd never understand guys. She opened her phone to the message that held the map and nodded. "So, how are we getting in exactly? I get that we're going through the Courtyard, but how are we getting in?"
Henflesher was watching L with a certain amount of interest. Why is he slouched over like that? Why does he look so emotionless? Why isn't he wearing any shoes?

Ivan enlarged the image of the map and pinpointed out the courtyard area. "We're planning some distraction over here so the rest of us can get from behind." He pointed the two area out and showed the doors they needed to get through. "Todd is leading it, so do you need any of them to help you out?" He glanced back down at the map.
Finn opened the map on his phone, his eyes searching the image. Everything seemed set in stone, but he still saw one flaw. "What about locks? They're not stupid. There is a electrical room where all of the basement's power comes from. If we can cut it off, all loced doors are open to us." He explained. They would need someone who was either very good with wires or someone who could overcharge the main systems.
"And what if some students are being tested on then? Everyone else would be in this Lock and Key Room." Bellamy pointed out on the image. "The others would still be with some agent or scientist." What if Ella was being tested on right now? He shook his head impatiently, believing that they still had enough time.
L looked around and stopped when he spotted Henflesher staring at him. He stared right back until the snowy white haired boy looked away. "Well, is anyone tech savvy? If not, I'm very good with electronics and anything electrical."
Todd pointed to Finn. "They think you're on their side, right? You could help me get us all in." He shrugged and looked at the others. Their group wasn't very big, but it'd have to do. "Are there any other suggestions for our plan? As for your question, Bellamy, we're just going to have to hope that no one is being hurt. If they are, we'll save them. We can fight off the agents. We do have the upper hand with our powers."
Daniellasa sighed, "Don't you think they know a way to take our powers away? It's like Finn said, they're not stupid."

Ivan nodded his head, agreeing with Daniellasa. "I wouldn't be surprised if they did." He clenched his hand by his side before looking down at the map image again. "Just look out for any syringes. Some chemicals are lethal ad I suppose some do have the ability to take away our powers." He announced to everyone.
Finn nodded his head, taking away the image of the basement to call his father. "My dad can find a way to get us in. Somehow call all the agents in the courtyard and around it to come inside so we will have a clear passage." He dialed his father's number and held it up to his ear.
Bellamy nodded his head, thinking over their plan. "I might not be able to override the systems, but I can take away all the lights in the basement." He suggested to L.
((Sure thang))
"Well, why don't we head on out now?" Todd asked and started to walk on his own towards the Government building.
Daniellasa watched as the teacher walked away with a thundering determination. She suddenly had a new respect for him. "Shouldn't we wait for Alix and Roy?" She looked at Ivan and raised her brows.
L nodded at Finn as he called his father. Then, he turned his attention toBellamy. "All right. Who is Alix and Roy?"

Finn nodded and taked into the phone as he conversed with his father. After a few minutes, he cleared up everything that was going to happen to him. "Alright. In twenty minutes, there will be guards, scientists, or agents by the courtyard so we can get in." He informed them.
Bellamy shrugged his shoulders, looking back in the direction of the dorms where they had come from. "Two guys who joined us. They were both blubbering when we were leaving. I guess we should wait until they can control themselves." He acknowledged, knowing they did have twenty minutes until it was all clear for them to come through.
Todd stopped and listened to everyone. "So...what do we do for twenty minutes?"
L cleared his throat and stuck out his hand to Bellamy to shake. "L Lawliet. Thank you for joining. It takes brave kids like yourselves to do such a task. I want you all to know that I have the highest respect for you in case something happens to you or myself."
Todd looked at Ivan with sad eyes. He moved closer to him to whisper. "Ivan, these kids could die tonight."
Daniellasa sat down on one of the benches at the directory. "I hate waiting."

Finn shrugged his shoulders as he pocketed his phone. Twenty minutes. Twenty minutes could mean the loss of twenty lives. Ivan was right. Everyone was depending on them to get through and come to the rescue.
Bellamy reached his hand out and shook the teacher's hand firmly. "Bellamy Blake. My sister's in there...the longer we wait, the more harm can be done to her. " He frowned, visibly conflixted on whether running off himself to the basement or staying with the rest of the group.
Daniellasa, Henflesher, and Todd gained a little more respect for Ivan in that moment because of his outright honesty.
Roy and Alix finally showed up at the directory. Roy had his fake swagger going on because he felt good. He was in the mood to kick the Government's ass and save everyone who was kidnapped. He felt invincible! "What'd we miss?'
