ABANDONED. Picture Book about an Elephant and a Peanut

When I was a child, I borrowed a children's picture book from the library. It was about an elephant who got a peanut stuck in his trunk, and he had to go to the doctor's to have it removed. It was so cute, but I cannot remember the title or author! I couldn't even find it at the library I originally borrowed it from in the 1990s. If anyone could help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated! I want to reminisce about my childhood!
