What should I do first with Amazon?

My print book isn't out until December... What should I do first to get ready to win over people there? I'm clueless when it comes to this. I get the blogging,,, loops... tweet's, facebook etc. But Amazon? I'm in need of help.

Amazon will allow you to create an author page, use tags for their search engines and post reviews as well. There's not much you can do until the book comes out, but I would start with the author page.

Sounds like a plan... now is there a special place to find an Author Page? I've looked around and can't seem to find it. Or do I have to apply to obtain an authors page like we did here at goodreads?
