How much is censored from the 1846 anonymous translation?

I have read the first few chapters of Robin Buss' Penguin translation and the earlier anonymous translation, and can honestly say i prefer the latter despite the Buss version being recommended by so many people.
However, I am wondering if anyone can tell me how much is really edited from that earlier translation?
Is it just a couple on details about lesbianism or much more than that?
No spoilers please! If the answer contains spoilers just tell me to read the Buss version :)

Did you read Buss's introduction? I just read the introduction to his translation while at a bookstore. He explains what was missing, such as the various nuances of the words in the French language, that are missing in previous English translations including the 1846 one.

I read the 1846 translation. The copy I have of it is 1462 pages long so I'm pretty sure not much is cut from it. I read it because that was the only one available from my library and I bought it when it was about a hundred pages in. I enjoyed the archaic language but it might be off-putting for some people. I mean, the word "ejaculated" is frequently used as a synonym for "explain" and such.

The Modern Library and Oxford World Classics versions both use the 1846 translation. (I have the Modern Library version.)

I read the anonymous version recently. Eugenie's sexuality is quite obvious, I don't think it's censored...hence why the translator was anonymous, maybe?
